Author: Sorry for not updating this as of late. I had a writers block and couldn't write.
I must have woken up late because when I came into the kitchen Sonic, Tails, Amy, Midna, and Ortinsia were all there. Tinse offered me blueberry pancakes. I always had a fondness for blueberries especially in pancakes because they tasted kind of like cream cheese. Asriel came in shortly after me and sat by me.
"Good morning," I greeted him, "good sleep?"
"Yea," he said, "after having a talk with you I did." He smiled happily. He kind of reminded me of a little brother. Whoa, where did that come from? I never even had a little brother plus I barely knew him. Everyone except Amy looked happy.
"Something up Amy?" Tails asked.
"I had another nightmare."
"The same?" She nodded.
"What nightmare?" I asked.
"Well, shortly before we met you Rhion our friend, Knuckles the echidna, went missing."
"Missing?" Asriel asked.
"Yea. Sonic, Tails, and I were on a scouting mission with him, trying to look for monsters. A big snow storm kicked up and we couldn't find him. I have nightmares occasionally about where he might be. None of them are good."
Sonic put a hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry Amy, we'll find him. He wouldn't go down without a fight."
"Yea you're right. Thanks Sonic." Just then, Moogle and Bowser Jr. came in.
"We've got a problem," Moogle said.
"Well good morning to you too," Sonic answered, "what's up?"
"Dad got a strange letter today," Bowser Jr. answered.
"Strange? How?" I asked.
"We can't read it. It's in a strange language." They looked at me knowing I could often understand different languages.
"I'll see what I can do. Where's the letter?" Bowser Jr. handed me a scroll. I unrolled it. I could understand it well.
"What is this language?" Asriel asked.
"It looks familiar," Midna noted.
"It's Goron language. Langue of the Gorons."
"Gorons?" Asriel asked. I nodded.
"Be right back," I told them running to my room. I grabbed an old map out of a backpack I had.
"Okay," I told them pointing to the west side of the map. "We're here. South of the snow mountain. We can't go there." I pointed to the east side of the map. "Gorons live here. They're rock people. They're amazing fighters and their chieftain, Darunia, is a kind person."
"So what's the letter say?" Asriel asked. I quickly scanned through the letter.
"It's a help request. They're being invaded by Shadow Beasts and can't hold out much longer. They need reinforcements."
"Wait," Sonic interrupted, "we're just going to ignore the fact Rhion can read this stuff?"
I laughed. "Someone taught me Goron among with a bunch of other languages." I explained.
"Who?" I froze for a moment. I didn't want to talk about it.
"So what do we do?" Moogle asked saving me.
"We send help. Three of us should go as a scout party and hear the chieftain out."
"Right," Sonic said, "Rhion should go as she can understand them."
"They speak English too." I informed him.
"Still, you should go. Along with Bowser Jr. His dad did get the letter and Bowser might be too intimidating."
"Okay last one?" I asked.
"Ummm, I don't know." He said truthfully.
"I shouldn't go," Midna spoke up, "if Shadow Beasts are attacking, a twili, such as myself, would cause more of an issue." I nodded in agreement.
"Can I go?" Asriel spoke up. "I'd like to see them." I thought for a moment. As far as we knew, Asriel had no fighting experience. On the other hand, if we brought a kid, like him, along the Gorons would know we were peaceful.
"Okay, you can come." He smiled.
"What's next?" Bowser Jr. asked.
"We pack and we're off."
Author: Heya hope you enjoyed. I'll try to go back to updating every day but it might not work. See you later.
