Why did that name sound familiar? I wouldn't know until later but in the meantime we had to get out of there. The Shadow Beasts kept banging at the entrance to the system.
"Ok," I finally said, "we need to get out of here. Tails, do you know a way out?"
He pulled out a strange device. He turned it on and a map of the sewer system appeared.
"Okay," he said pointing to three dots on the map, "this is where we are. Now, if we take this route," he pointed at a line that was being drawn, "we'll get near the facility," he turned it off. "We'll be safe there." Asriel nodded. Suddenly, the screeching began and the cover began to shake. Tails grabbed three glasses out of his bag and handed them to us.
"Night vision glasses. Now RUN!" We put them on and ran. A while later, I heard a thud behind me and saw Asriel was on the ground. I grabbed his arm and ran. He got tired out fast.
"I...don't...think...I can...go...any further," he panted, "just...go...without me,"
"Not an option!" I shouted grabbing his arm and pulling him on my shoulders. I ran hard. Surprising, he was light. It was wired, something, besides keeping an innocent safe, was keeping me from leaving him behind. Like a promise. I ran to keep up with Tails who was hovering with his two tails. I could head them behind us.
"It's just up ahead!" Tails shouted. The weight of my back suddenly came off. I turned to see a Shadow Beast on Asriel who was screaming.
"Get back!" I shouted drawing my sword. I slashed the beast and it collapsed. I grabbed Asriel and ran to the exit. The creatures would revive their friend and I had a limited time frame to run. Tails held up the cover for us and we got into the light trapping the creatures in. We appeared in the woods outside the facility.
"You two okay?" Tails asked. I looked at where the beast had jumped on Asriel. He large claw marks on his stomach but was ok besides that.
"Let's get to the facility. Tinse can heal him," I said confidently.
"The thing is," Asriel intervened, "won't your friends be mad I stole everything? You two should be mad too."
"Asriel," I said,
"We're not mad," Tails interrupted, "it was for survival. If they're mad, we'll make them understand. Right Rhion?"
"Right." We walked to the facility.
"Tinse? You here?" I called. She came running.
"What-" she stoped when she saw Asriel's scares.
"Let's get you healed up," she said taking him into one of the rooms. It was like a hospital room with a window facing the woods and a bunch of machines. Asriel sat down on the bed as she got stuff for his scar.
"Rhion, can we talk?" Tails asked. I followed him outside the room.
"Did you feel it?"
"What?" I asked.
"You know, when a Pure Heart is around. I felt it." Pure Hearts felt something when others were around. We were use to it. If a Pure Heart is around we were stronger. The more Pure Hearts around, the stronger you were.
"That was me." I answered.
"No I felt like two Pure Hearts were around," he said. "You don't think-"
"Gaaa!" I headed Tinse yell. We ran in and our hearts started glowing. Mine glowed blue, Tails glowed orange, and Tinse glowed red. We looked over at Asriel and his heart was glowing green. I quickly connected the dots. He was the last Pure Heart.
Author: Heya hope you enjoyed this chapter. This one was more of a filler besides the part of Asriel being a Pure Heart.
