The team moved out in formation. Barry Oliver and Harley took one half of the city, and Rick, Deadshot, Diablo and Croc took the other. The two speedsters were running amok in the industrial district, which was in Barry's half of the city. Deadshot had taken a vantage point on top of queen consolidated and was able to see the whole city. "Green I've got eyes on the targets, they're in the factory district near the old train station." Barry ran Oliver over there, and then got Harley. They were a block away, waiting for the other half of the team to show up.

Within the hour the rest of the task force had shown up, and Bart and Thad were still terrorizing the one factory. They had taken the workers hostage and were just messing with them. Thad was watching Bart run around a single worker tied to a chair, while he threw lightning at him, each time just barely missing him. "Ooh you almost got him that time!" The worker cried out in horror, "Please stop, I'll do anything you want, anything!" Bart stopped running a circle and went up to the man. "You said anything?" The man realized his mistake when Bart said this. Bart laughed. Only a chuckle at first, but then it turned into a full on evil laugh. And then, he cut the man free. "I want you..... to dodge." And and he started running in circles again, preparing to throw lightning. Barry couldn't let anything happen to that man. He ran out to tackle Bart. But he had gotten faster. Bart barely had enough time to react. But he manages to alter his course and have Barry miss him. "Too slow Flash." Bart ran at Barry, and he knocked him to the ground, kicking him multiple times. "Do you know who you remind me of now?" Barry's only replies were coughs. "That wannabe speedster Rival. He just didn't have the heart to be bad. And that outfit, oh my god it was awful." Barry tried to get up, but Thad kicked him over this time. "This isn't you Bart." Impulse smiled at his grandfather. He knelt down and whispered to him. "Oh but you see, this is me now." Barry laughed. "Did you say, NOW?!" An arrow found its place in Bart's shoulder. Another one, as well as a bullet in Thad's. The green arrow fired another arrow, connecting a wire, and slid down from a nearby building. "I don't know if you can feel that coursing through your system, but those are nanites, which are severing your connection to the speed force. And as for you Mr. Thawne, thanks to both Ray Palmer, and Mr. Lawton up there," Oliver pointed to the building he had come from. "your system has had an entire cutoff from the speed force, which means no phasing the curare that was in that bullet out of your system." Barry stood up next to Oliver and whispered a question. "Bart's is temporary right?" Oliver turned off his voice modulator so he could whisper. "Yeah it shouldn't last longer than a week." Barry went over to his grandson. "I'm sorry about this Bart." Bart, who now was still kneeling on the ground, spoke before Barry could do what he was about to. "Sorry for what? Taking away my speed for what, a second in our lifespan?" Barry replied, "No not for that." Then he pulled back his arm, and punched Bart across the face, knocking him out cold. As Bart's body hit the ground, going limp, so did Thad's, but for different reasons. "Thank you Rick, and Oliver for your help here." Rick walked over to Barry. "It was my pleasure. Get to track two not just one, but two speedsters? Cross that off the bucket list. So thank you Mr. Uh... flash, I guess. Oh and Waller told me to give this to you. If you ever need any more help, just call." Rick handed Barry a white business card, which simply had a phone number on it. Barry stuck it in Bart's mask. He wouldn't mind seeing he was asleep. He looked at Thad one more time. "A shame really. Seems like he could have made a good ally. His head was just in the wrong place." Then he picked up Bart, and ran back to star labs to lock him up, grabbing some big belly burger on the way.
