Justin Pov
I was sleeping peacefully with Selena in my arms, my face buried in her long hair inhaling her scent with every breath I took. Everything was quiet around us until my phone rang in the middle of the night
I ignored the first call letting the phone ring, I tought I could finally sleep when it began to ring again, groaning in annoyance at waking up in the middle of the night I rolled over to check the time 2am, whoever is calling will be dead tomorrow
I answered the phone without looking at the caller ID and immediately heard a lot of noises but no one was talking "Is this a joke? Who's fucking calling at 2am?" I tried to keep my voice low so Selena wouldn't wake up
"Justin I need your help!" Someone waspanting heavily on the other line
It took me a minute to register his voice since I was still asleep and all I could hear were people shouting at each other "Alfredo? What's wrong?" I asked worried about him
"You need to come here! It went wrong..." I heard a gun in the background and the line was dead again
"I'm gonna kill them all if they're still alive, they had to do one fucking job and they can't even do it without getting in trouble" I said to myself as I got up from the bed and started dressing as fast as I can
"Justin?" I heard Selena's queit voice behind me "Why you're dressed at 2 am? Where are you going?" She asked still half asleep
Fuck, I forgot about her for a moment. "Go back to sleep baby, I just have to go pick up the boys, they got in trouble for drinking too much" I turned to look at her and tried to smile reassuring her everything was fine
"Oh, let me dress quick-" "No, stay here and sleep you really don't want to see them when they're drunk"
"They're my friends too, I want to help them" She tried to get up but I pushed her down the bed again
"You're not coming Selena, end of it" I said harshly, hating to lie to her every time and be a dick but I had to protect her, I couldn't live if something bad happened to her
"But..." "I said No!" I saw hurt in her face and instantly regretted talking to her like that "I'm so sorry baby, I'm just trying to protect you, trust me" I said leaving a kiss on her forehead before picking my phone and leaving
The whole ride to the abandoned warehouse where everything we did illegal was made I couldn't shake off Selena's face from my mind, she was hurt and she was doubting me. This wasn't good, this was the start of something destructive, once you lose trust you lose everything, there's no turning back, you'll always have a scar that will never heal completely
I arrived at the warehouse and picked my gun from a secret compartment in my car, I made sure it was loaded before going inside
"I see y'all are partying without me" I said loudly getting everyone's attention
"Look who's here to rescue his children" The boss of the other gang said laughing
"Yeah, daddy's here to whip everyone's ass" I said smirking and pointing my gun at him "But we can resolve this by talking, right?"
"What, are you afraid to be killed?" He laughed again with his team
"I'm afraid to clean all the mess and blood after I kill you all" I lowered my gun "And honestly, I don't have time to clean shit"
"What are you doing? Kill them!" Alfredo whispered-yelled coming next to me but I just ignored him
"So? what happened?" I said getting closer to the boss of the other gang
"Your men tried to sell me guns and coke at double the price"
"My bad, they don't really know how to do shits, I'm usually the one doing the deals" I said trying to look like I really cared
"Yes, because you were too busy with your new bitch" I heard Za said under his breath, I'll deal with it later
"What kind of boss are you? Everyone knows the code: bros before hoes" They all laughed again and I faked a laugh too
"You know I can't really say no to some fun" I patted him on his back "And for the inconvenience every memeber of your gang will have some fun too, drugs, sex, strip tases, all on me" He looked at me unsure trying to see if I was tricking him
"Only if we can get what we requested tonight for free too"
"Alright, deal" I reached out my hand waiting for him to shake it
"Deal" He said doing the same and shaking my hand "I'll expect everything tomorrow at my warehouse, nice to make deals with you Bieber" He said before calling his men and going out
"This is bullshit!" I heard Za once they were all out "What's wrong with you? Why didn't you kill them? We lost our money!"
"I'm the Boss, I make the decisions" I didn't had to explain anything to him
"What happened to you? What happened to our boss that killed everyone in his sight?"
"The real question is, Why you need me to babysit you all day Za?" He came to me and pushed me "Za stop or you'll regret it" I said trying to stay calm
"No, I'm not gonna stop, i'm not afraid of a guy that's too pussy whipped to kill anymore" He pushed me again and I lost my patience punching him in the face, Alfredo and Maejor rushed to stop us getting in between us "Just stop both of you, Maejor take Za away with you" He said blocking me from puching Za again
Once we were alone he turned to me "I'm not judging you, I just want to know why you didn't kill them"
"I.. I don't know, I'm hurting Selena with all these lies" I paused "I'm thinking that maybe If I don't kill people she will never know the truth" I looked down at my gun "Maybe if I spare some lives she'll see I can be a good person too"
"I'm sorry bro, I shouldn't have called you" He shook his head "We were having a nice poker game and I was sticking to the regular price for some coke and guns but Za doubled the price and they got mad"
"Za is acting weird since I got with Selena, I'll keep my eyes on him. Now I have to go home to my lady"
"Thank you for tonight" He said honestly
"I'll always have your back" I half smiled and bro hugged him
We left the warehouse and drove in my Ferrari back to my house, when I went upstairs to my bedroom I saw Selena sleeping, I stripped down to my boxers and got under the covers hugging her from behind
"I hope you'll be able to forgive me because I can't even forgive myself for what I'm doing to you" I whispered in her ear before kissing her cheek
