Eyes On Me

Chapter 14

Selena Pov  

"I hope you'll be able to forgive me because I can't even forgive myself for what I'm doing to you" I heard Justin whisper in my ear before kissing my cheek 

What does it mean? Why I had to forgive him? I stayed up all night looking at the ceiling above wishing I had an answer to all the questions I had in my mind 

I couldn't help but doubt him and his love for me, Was he seeing someone else? Was he seeing Hailey again? 

I got up a little before the alarm went off so I could go home and change for school, I was still in my pj bottoms and tank top from yesterday and I left without saying anything to Justin. I wasn't avoiding him and I wasn't mad at him I was just..confused, what was he hiding? 

When I stepped inside my house I heard my mom yell "Selena Marie Gomez come here, now!" What did I do now? My mom never yelled at me and I was honestly scared 

"Yes mom?" I asked with the sweetest voice

"Where were you till this morning? I got so scared, I tried to call you and you never answered me" 

Oh, that's why. "I'm sorry mom, I went to Liz, I fell asleep there and my phone died" That was half a lie half the truth, I fell asleep at a house but that defenitely wasn't Liz's 

"I was so close to call the police, don't ever do that again" I could see she stayed up all night worried about me and I felt bad 

"I'm really sorry mom" I went to hug her 

"I'm just glad you're okay, now go change for school" She said hugging me back and leaving a kiss on my cheek 

I changed in a black skirt with thigh high socks and a white shirt on top, I got my backpack on my shoulder and said hi to my mom before going out again 

While I was waiting for the bus I got a text from Mark 

Need a ride to school?

I smiled, sometimes I missed talking and hanging out with him, just to have a friend and not be lonely  

No but thank you, I have to go get breakfast 

The bus finally arrived after a minute and I got in

I'll take care of it

That's why I missed him, I missed having a friend, someone who will listen to you and do everything for you, I was happy with being just with Justin but when he left I always felt alone and empty

I replied to him and after twenty minutes I arrived at school seeing Liz at the entrance stairs, I went to her smiling "Hey Liz" I said hugging her "Hey Lena, how was your weekend?" 

At her question I bit my lips remembering what I did with Justin the day before, how I was so confident to blow him and after he was done I was so shy and embarassed again, Justin really had a weird effect on me 

"Oh, it was..different" I said smiling "Why?" She asked curiously tilting her head making her blode hair cover her ocean blue eyes a little bit 

"Well.. it's a secret" I winked at her and laughed, she was ready to ask me more questions when Mark hugged me from behind lifting me a little bit 

"Stop!" I said laughing "My skirt is riding up, put me down" I said laughing 

"That's how you treat a friend who buys you food?" He said letting me out of his grip and lifting up a white bag that smelled amazing
