Chapter 40

Selena Pov

I was at Liz's house but all I could think of was how tense Justin was this morning after the call he received

I asked him if everything was ok and he blatantly lied to my face, again.

It must be something related to his "job" so I didn't ask more question I just wish he would open up to me, he should know by now that nothing scares me anymore, I just want to be by his side and make him feel better

I even offered to stay at home with him, I could hang out with Liz another time but he said to just go, enjoy my sleepover and not to worry

Well, it's fucking hard not to worry

"Selena?"

"Selena?" 

"Yes?" I snap out of my trance and quickly looked up at her

"The pizza is here" She pointed to the warm pizza in front of me "Are you ok?" She asked with concern in her voice

"Yeah, yeah I'm okay" I reassured her with a smile

I was doing the same thing Justin was doing to me, things were not ok but what could I do? I couldn't talk to Liz about it, I had to pretend.

"The delivery guy is so freaking hot" She said sitting next to me on the couch with a slice of pizza in her hand 

"I bet your pj with cats turned him on" I looked at her pajama before shaking my head

"Hey! It's comfy and it's what underneath that matters" She winked at me and I laughed "So what movie should we watch?"

"You choose" I took a slice of pizza moaning at the delicious taste of it

"Ok, I see you're too busy having sex with pizza" We both laughed and she choose to put Frozen on "We're never too old to watch Disney movies" She added with a big smile

"I agree with that"

When the pizza was finished and we were in the middle of the movie Liz cleared her throat

"So I was thinking..." She trailed off

"What?" I asked confused

"School is coming to an end soon, and I know you want to go to a college that isn't far away from here but.." 

I could see she was debating with herself for a minute whether telling me what was on her mind was the best idea

"Liz, just say it"

"Just.. before you say no promise me you'll think about it ok?" At this point I just wanted her to tell me so I agreed

"Ok, I promise" I nodded quickly wanting her to continue, I was curious to know what had her so worried

"I'll just go straight to the point, I want to go study in Europe and I want you to come with me" She said fast waiting for my reaction 

"What?" Was all that came out of my mouth

"Selena, you're my best friend, I can't see myself doing this experience with no one else and I would miss you too much"
