I couldn't sleep that night , after the kiss Josh shared with me . I mean , it did feel right , but I had no idea where that came out of . Kissing my best friend just seems completely weird to me. Before I said goodnight to him, I just told him that I would need time to think , after what happened. Let's just face it here, I'm no person to jump straight into a relationship , and hopefully he understands that too.

The entire night I kept tossing and turning in my sleep. I woke up with a completely sweaty body ( not very attractive). I basically died when my phone starting ringing. The constant buzzing sounds started infuriating my body , making it a challenge to pick up my phone.

Caller ID , who's this sneaky little shit.????

"What the Fuck do you want, I don't really appreciate you calling at who knows what time in the morning" I literally answer it sounding like a complete bitch.

"Jen it's me Nick"

Whoops !

"Oh and it's 1pm in the afternoon , not early hours of the morning " he laughs

"I'm sorry , I thought it was some douche bag trying to annoy the crap out of me. Obviously I've never been a morning person."

"I can see that. And your not really an afternoon person now too" Nick jokes

"So what's up "

"I wanted to know if your actually free tonight, you and I could go to the club maybe, for a few drinks"?

" sorry I can't do that. I mean we can drink but not at the club"

" why what's wrong with going there "??

"Well a couple of weeks......"

Do I really need to tell him. I'm not looking for more sympathy from everyone.

"Actually Nick , you don't need to worry "

"Okay , well how about my Hotel apartment "

"Yeah sounds great. I thought you were staying at your girlfriends parents place though"

"I was , but plans sort of went wrong"

"Right well, I better get going . What time do you want me to come around. Need me to bring anything"

" come around whenever you please . And just bring yourself"

"I can't stay to long tonight , I have work tomorrow" I say warning him.

" that's all fine"

"Cool, sounds great. See you later then"

"Bye " he says hanging up.
