(Last Luke Heart is Sick chapter)
I slammed my room door and slid down to the floor. I feel so conflicted. I don't know if Natsu knows my secret or not. It's as if that predicament is the only thing that matters right now. I could still smell smoke from the fire Natsu started, and it was bothering me. I was trying to think and this absolutely wasn't helping. On one side Natsu could just be doing these things to be nice, on the other, he can be doing this because he knows I'm a girl...wait....he probably doesn't even know what the attractions that one person has toward another is. I sighed. He doesn't know...*achoo!*
Ahh I hate being sick! I feel lousy. I got up from the floor and walked over to my bed, then pulled out a silver key. "Open! Gate of Canis Minor, Nikora!" With a puff of smoke, Plue appeared with a lollipop in hand. "Whatcha got there Plue?", I said as I picked him up. He took the candy out of his mouth and offered it to me. I sweat dropped. "No that's okay. I think I'm good...". He put it back in his mouth and I giggled. He always made me laugh. I hugged him and lied back on the bed. *achoo!*
I sniffled and wiped my nose. My cold was better than two hours ago. I think I should be over it in a couple of days. Maybe even tomorrow, hopefully. It was boring being quarantined in my room, having people tell me to rest. I mean, how much rest does a person need anyways? I coughed and shot upright."That was uncomfortable..," I said hitting my chest. *knock knock*
I stared at the door. "Who's there?""It's Loke"
"Loke who?," I snickered at my own remark. I could hear him sigh from the other end of the door. "Can I just come in?" I sent Plue back to the spirit world, and opened the door for him. "Welcome, what brings you to this abandoned music room?," I said.
"What?"
"What? I didn't say anything."
"You just sai-"
"Nothing~"
He gave me the strangest look before putting his normal playboy expression on. "So can I come in or what?"
"Yeah sure," I stepped aside and let him in, then closed the door. "So what brings you here?"
"Oh, you know, just taking the opportunity to get to know you, I guess," he said with a shrug. "You're bored aren't you?," I asked not believing that yet another person was telling me this.
"Very!," he shouted. "All the girls are somewhere else on a field trip to a concert, there's nothing good on TV, AND everyone else is trying to either put out the fire, or get through to the dorm manager to get the kitchen fixed." He kept fuming and I just sat on my bed waiting for him to finish. He finally calmed down and sat on the chair I had. "You done?," I asked. He nodded. I heard about the concert they were all going to. It was a singer named Zen. I'm pretty sure that's not his real name. I'm glad I didn't go, I heard he's an egoist.
"So you come to me?," I asked. He nodded again. "You're the only completely sane one here and I thought I'd be less bored talking to you, I guess," he said. I smiled. "Well then anything you want to discuss?" Loke laughed. "Don't sound so formal! This isn't a business meeting!" I stuck my tongue, then I sneezed. "Bless you"
*sniff* "thanks"
"You know," he started, "I forgot you were sick for a moment. I guess you're getting better. Damn Gray being stupid like that..."
"Don't blame him," I said,"it was an accident" I wish they'd get over it already. "Hey Loke?," I asked him. "Yes~?"
I had notice he was stepping on my leather key holder. "Stop stepping on that!" He lifted his foot off of the pouch and picked it up. "What is it? I can feel a lot of magic energy coming from it."
I sprung up and grabbed it from him. "It's a family relic....of sorts..," I said lying through me teeth. He gave me a look saying 'alright chill' and put his hands up. "Geez sorry. Didn't know it was so special." He looked over to the side of the bed and looked at something. He turned pale. "T-t-that's a c-ce-celestial k-key! Y-you're a celestial Wizard!"
I looked at my bed in surprise and mentally face palmed. I left Plue's key out! "Y-yeah. I do a little bit of celestial magic."
He ran out as fast as a bullet. What's that guy's problem? At least he didn't suspect anything. I lied back down again. The smell of smoke still lingered in the dorm. I looked up at my white Ceiling and sighed, then my room door was slammed opened and I was picked up. Laxus had me in his arms, then he jumped out the window. "Natsu made the freaking fire worse and as you can tell," he turned around and put me down and I saw the dorm on fire, "our dorm is on fire now."
