The Extra Credit Quests!

My eyes blanked for a moment as I thought about how father was possibly able to break in. What kind of people did he pay?

"Hello? Are you okay?" Makarov waved his enlarged hand in front of my face and I snapped out of my train of thought. "Hu- oh sorry. Thanks for telling me, but I really should get back in there before they worry," I turned around and placed my hand on the barrier, and the magic encased be and brought me inside. As the magic dissolved, I saw what I should've expected. Sting pulling at Rouge's hair, Loke on the phone with sparkles surrounding him, Laxus and Gray in a face off and Natsu in the corner sulking. Gramps probably didn't go easy on his punishment.

"Seriously. I was only gone for three minutes and you end up like this," I sighed and pushed Gray and Laxus away from each other, hit sting, and left Loke alone since he wasn't necessarily doing anything wrong. "Oi! Why'd you hit me?!," Sting yelled. "You're an idiot that's why" I smirked and sat down.

"LUKE.! YOU'RE BACK!" I turned and saw the pinkette perk up and stand up, but Laxus pushed his head down onto the floor.  My heart squeezed as I watched Natsu struggle against The pressure of Laxus's hand. He got so happy just by seeing me....it made me happy too. But I had not figured out why.  The sensation of hair against my neck made me flinch and snap out of my thoughts. Sting had his head on my shoulder and Rouge sat next to me, slightly too close. They seemed to be half asleep despite the ....whatever just happened...that they had.  A small smile graced upon my lips again. This is probably the most peaceful moment I've had in my short being in this school, despite the small sounds of a struggling Natsu in the distance. But you didn't expect it to last forever did you? Of course you didn't!

"GUUYYSSSSSSSSSSS TURN THE TV ONTO THE SCHOOL BROADCAST CHANNEL!! NOW!!" Gray had a notification lacrima in his hand. Sting snapped fully awake at his yelling and accidentally banged his head into mine. "OW!" We both yelled. "SORRY!" He yelled hastily. Gray fumbled with the remote and turned on the TV lacrima. It illuminated with the picture of two girls with short white hair. "This is 'The Big Picture' with Yukino and Lisanna! Today's Big Picture is something everyone has been talking about: the Extra Credit Quests. This Semester there are four of them going up for grabs at 90XCP. The highest yet! Each Requested by the King of Fiore Himself! #1: Help finish the construction of the Plaza de los Flores, the soon the be most extravagant ballroom in the world. After the construction, you will be invited to join them in its first ever Galla! Male and Female pair recommended! #2: Find the ever-so-spoken-about Crown of petals. The king needs its healing properties for future magic remedies. #3: Escort the Princess to her meeting with the next city over. Her escort had not been able to attend and your help is needed! #4: Travel to Uncharted, Monster Infested land and take hold of the legendary Golden Pearl, which is to be implanted in the school grounds to give us all extra energy for our educational tools! The uncharted land will then be named in your honor! Now you all know the drill. A magic barrier is materialized in front of any door of the room you are in. If you are outside you will be trapped inside a magic barrier. These precautions are, as you know, so that no one gets an unfair head start. The barriers will dissolve in 45 seconds. The first five people to get to the council office will randomly be assigned a task. Good luck!"

The screen turned to a timer.

"Come on guys!" Sting shouted. "Wait! What about the barrier?" I yelled. "It doesn't form around here. We get an advantage. So hurry up!"

Loke took my hand and ran towards the exit. I was stumbling as he dragged me to the council building. "H-hey! You're going too fast! I'm gonna fall!"

"We only have less than 20 second left. I'm not slowing down!," he yelled. I tripped and fell, then rolled back onto my feet. "Jeez..."

Loke was no longer holding onto my hand since he didn't want to fall too. I sprinted towards the building. I was the slowest out of the seven of us, well...8. Zeref had somehow come out of nowhere and was right In front of me.

"Aww~ is baby brother too slow?," he teased. My face erupted in a scarlet color in embarrassment and I pouted. "Shut up and run."

"Man I hope I get the uncharted land request!" Sting shouted. "I bet you'd be stupid and name it Stingtopia or something dumb like that," Rouge commented. Sting scoffed with a 'how'd you know?' Face, "of course not....."

A loud ringing was heard and I saw magic dissolving in the air. Times up. I ran faster. I didn't want to be stuck with no quest. Or a bad one to say the least. I started passing the other guys. The first one to burst through the doors was Laxus, then Loke, then Me, then Rouge and...Erza? Wow didn't see that coming. Natsu had been tripped by Gray and he started fighting with him, and Sting seemed to be passed out with a kick mark on his shirt. Zeref was just....out of breath. People started flooding in, but to their disappointment, we were already here.

"Congratulation to the Five of you. Now If you would please pull out a lot number so we can determine you're quest," Mavis said standing on a stool with a jar of magic lot sticks. I reached my hand in with the others and pulled out a stick. '#1'.

"I got 4!" Laxus shouted. He seemed like a child who just got a jackpot of candy. "I got 3!," Loke cheered. "2," Said Rouge said with a disappointed look. I looked at Erza. "1"

Guess we were together for this one. "You know the drill. Get to it!" Bob said with a twirl. I cringed. He scares me. Erza took a firm hold of my wrist and dragged me out of the building. I was scarred that she was going to lecture me. But I was surprised when she turned around with her eyes full of sparkles. "We get to spend time together Lucy! Now we can get to know each other!" She seemed eager to become friends, and I smiled. "Yeah. Let's have fun!"

I'm so sorry! I just have no ideas for filler chapters! This fanfic will be most likely over 50 chapters long with all the stuff I have planned. Ugh. I need a life. Anyways I hope you guys liked it.

So on another note, I'd like to know if you guys would read a Hetalia Fanfic. I'm writing one right now. It's only gonna be 11 or 12 chapters, so it wont override my attention to this fanfic. So, give me your opinions. Thanks!
