I woke up to the sound of beeping, my alarm sounded awful, like a nail screeching a chalk board. I looked around my large room, white walls and fur carpeting which was black, I quite enjoyed the simple colours, looking regal, I enjoyed it very much. I slowly got out of my large king sized bed before walking over to my walk in wardrobe.
Today was going to be a long day, after my fathers tutoring I had a meeting with the werewolf council, the meetings only going to be about rogues and any other threat, but nevertheless I had to attend, gotta be a great alpha.
After I got changed and grabbed my jacket I got downstairs and went to the kitchen where my dad sat on the kitchen island,"hey dad!" I said with a sweet smile on my face.
"Hey sweetheart, how are you doing?" He said looking behind his shoulder to meet my eyes.
He had his hot mug of coffee engrossed into his hands, I sat down next to him grabbing the toast beside him,"I'm doing fine dad, how about you?" I asked sweetly.
"I'm doing fine now that I have seen you, except this meetings got my hands tangled-" then he paused for a moment, "oh, and before I forget, tomorrow there will be a ball, it's to celebrate alpha Phillip meeting his mate, and it's about time if you ask me." My dad said with a low chuckle, seeing him smile made me smile.
"I agree father, alpha Phillip did deserve a mate after all, I cannot wait to meet her, she must be spectacular"
"Well that's my girl, hope you have a good day at school." He said yet again with his brilliant smile. I looked up at the clock in the wall and yet again I was going to be late, I quickly kissed my dad on the cheek and bid my farewell before exiting out the door. I walked over to my Porsche and started the ignition, i pulled out of the drive way before speeding off.
It took about an hour and a half to get to school, my school didn't belong on my fathers land, my school lived in neutral territory meaning werewolves from all over the place come here, I quite enjoyed it, even though I was the only female future alpha that goes there, but I like my uniqueness and getting to know the other future alphas makes me feel lucky, most of them have mean and overbearing parents, I feel lucky to have such an amazing father.
I pulled up to my school and parked in the school car park. As soon as I stepped outside I was engrossed in a hug,"hey k!" I heard Lily's chirpy voice.
"Hey lil's!" I said with a smile.
As soon as lily let me go her twin brother Allan came alongside her,"hey kalani!" He said with his beautiful grin.
"Hey Allan!" I said with a bright smile.
"So I heard you are going to the council meeting tonight?" Allan said with curiosity.
Allan is a future alpha as well as myself, he is basically the only future alpha that I really connected with, he's like my best friend.
"Yeah, are you going too?"
"Yeah, I guess I will see you there then." He said before his other friends came along and stole him from us.
"Why am I always left out?" Lily said with a tint of sadness.
"Cause your not an alpha." I stated in a 'duh' tone.
"Well yeah, but I am a twin to one! That has got to count as something, right?" She said with curiosity.
"Maybe, but I wouldn't know. Besides, why do you want to go to some boring meeting with the elders?" I asked now myself being the curious one.
"It's just, what if my mate is an alpha! I mean A. That would be so cool, imagine the possessiveness, so cute. B. I can finally be in all the meetings with you guys. C. I would find the love of my life. I mean haven't you made a pros list for having a mate!? Wait, don't answer; I know what your going to say-" she paused for a moment,"'I don't want a mate, I want to be an alpha and not some stupid Luna.' Well sorry for asking k!" She said with a goofy smile plastered on her face.
"Ha ha, lil's very funny, at least I won't have to rely on some male." I said with sarcasm.
And with that lily turned around and started to walk away, she needed some time alone, she knew I didn't mean it like that, she just needed to cool off.
I started to walk towards the stairs which led up to the main school entrance, but before I got to the top a girl bumped into me and guess what... it was none other than Bianca herself.
Bianca is the high school s.l.u.t. If you wanted to know, she has slept with every guy in the school grounds and is like the barbie doll to this school, the popular girl if you will. She had blonde hair and a boat load of makeup, which was plastered all over her face.
"Watch where your going hag!" She said with her high pitch squeal.
"Whatever, you'll get over it!" I stated having no effect to her words whatsoever.
This only seemed to rile her up more.
"I'm sorry, do you not know who I am?" She squealed again.
"No am I ament to?" I questioned.
"I am the daughter of alpha Dave of the black moon pack!" She said with pride as she puffed out her chest.
"So you are an only child?"
"No, I have an older brother who will take over my fathers place when it is time." She said with her bratty voice.
She continued," unlike you, your most probably training to be apart of the guards, am I right?" She said with a slight hint of amusement in her eye, how wrong she is.
"Well if you must know I am the future alpha for the blue moon pack, daughter of the current alpha, alpha jones, so if you will I would like a bit more respect Bianca." I stated with a smirk.
I left her standing there, her mouth like a fishes, opening and closing. She didn't move and I shoved past her, she should have seen that coming, surly.
