The silence oozed throughout the car, creating nothing but thought to be exchanged.

My mind had to blank out and focus on something else but alas it was no use, my mind would only recoil back to the thought of what I would say to my father who would most likely already be furious.

God, what am I going to say; hey dad, I just found these vampires for ya! No! Hey dad, these lovely vampires need some place to crash, so ya! God, no! Hey daddy-o would it be possible if we could let these fine v-! No! Maybe avoiding to say vampire is going to be my best bet.

My inner turmoil seemed to achieve one thing and that is to distract me from the silent vehicle.

I now stopped the car outside of my home and jumped out.

I looked over the building I was about to approach and gulped, I hope this works!

I turned back to the vehicle, "hey, come on in!" I said happily, which did not complement what I was feeling on the inside whatsoever!

I walked into my home and was greeted with a stern look from Dorothy, "Where have you been?" She asked sternly.

I stared directly at her, "I was helping a small family which has recently moved here." I explained.

She let out a sigh, "that is not going to cut it." She said under her breathe.

I rolled my eyes, "well if you don't believe me then-" I stopped and signalled the two vampires into the house.

They came in and stood by my side, "Dorothy I wasn't lying." I said whilst turning around to look at her.

She stared at me wide eyed, "you can't just bring anyone into this household!" She scolded me through mind-link.

"I'm very aware of that Dorothy, now can you please alert my father that I must speak to him imminently!" I said in a demanding tone.

She gave me a stern look which I replied to with pleading eyes, she gave somewhat a look of sympathy before turning and vanishing beyond the large doors.

"You have a marvellous home." Caterina said in a quite voice.

I turned around to her and smiled widely, "thank you, I never really understood the art of housing. I mean all I want is a nice cabin located far away from any civilisation." I said.

Caterina let out a laugh, "couldn't agree more."

And just like that the large doors swung open to reveal my very annoyed father.

"Where have you been?!" My father boomed.

"Helping." I simply said.

He gave me a perplexed look and then looked at the two standing a few steps behind me.

"Are you stupid! Do you not know who these people are?!" He fumed.

I stepped in front of them, "depends. What do you think they are?" I asked.
