It's hard to believe someone who's gone insane. Their imagination apparently enveloping them, into a swirling world of ones own thoughts. I mean what if insane people weren't insane? Does that make the rest of the world insane? Maybe not. Maybe being insane is doing something that could cause harm to others, with no intention. So that would make me insane, but apparently I'm not. Apparently me seeing the moon goddess isn't insane, but if I'm not insane then why doesn't anyone believe me. Why does no one believe that I saw the moon goddess, yet they believe in her?
My mind was snapped out of thought by the thud of the hospital door swinging open and banging against the wall.
An afraid looking James stood in the door frame, trying to look for something, trying to look for me.
I smiled a small smile as he zoomed like lightning to beside me and held my hand, "hey Kalani, gosh I don't know what happened to you, the doctors don't know either. I just have a feeling it has something to do with that white guy." He now had a mad expression.
"Well you wouldn't believe what happened." I said with a sigh.
"Try me." James said now looking into my eyes, into my soul.
"Well firstly the guy you saw was from heaven, hence the white. And the pain was caused by the moon goddess who spoke to me once unconscious."
"I believe you, I mean you were quite rude about her so it doesn't surprise me." He said with a laugh.
"Yeah, I guess I did over react just a tad." I giggled.
"Just a tad-" James laughed,"you were screaming and fuming, I think I even saw some steam emit from your ears." We both erupted in laughter.
My father then entered the hospital room, "morning darling,"My father said with a smile,"I am glad to see you smiling again."
He then turned to look at James, "thank you for making my daughter smile again, for a minute I thought she wouldn't smile ever again."
"The pleasure was all mine." James said whilst exiting the room not before turning around and winking at me, god this boy.
"So James." My father said in a more serious tone.
"What about James?" I said in a questioning manner.
"So is he your boyfriend?"
"Dad, not every guy I talk to is my boyfriend. He's just a really good - as of recent - friend." I said with a smile.
"Well I am glad he got you your smile back." He smiled and sat down besides me.
