An alpha female? Or a Luna?

Chapter 5 ~ Part 1 - Alpha phillips ball

It took me a good 2 hours to get changed, I couldn't wait to see Phillip! Him and my dad had always acted like brothers and Phillip always treated me like I was related to him.

I walked downstairs to see my dad, he was dressed in yet another stunning tuxedo. Whereas I was only wearing a simple blue dress.

I know I am meant to wear a huge extravagant dress to balls however I prefer to wear my normal type of dresses. A bit short but nonetheless easier to move about in.

I made my way to the bottom of the stairs as my dad started to move towards the door, he held the door open for me as I walked out into the afternoon breeze. The cold air, intoxicating my lungs. I exhaled before moving towards the limo, that I presume would escort us to Phillips ball.

After about 2-3 hours of driving we got there, where? You may ask. Well, we are on the pack lands of the light moon pack. This pack normally is in harmony with everyone, hence how my father and alpha Phillip get along so well.

We pulled up to the pack house and got out of the limo. My father held his arm out for me to wrap my hand around, and I did so. We entered the ball room and it looked exquisite! A huge golden chandelier hung above us, cream walls, many tables full with delicious foods and draped curtains. But, most importantly the people there. They wore what seemed like expensive outfits, then again these were all alphas and Luna's that attended this ball... the light moon pack itself most probably had a barbecue to celebrate their new Luna, but us - we have extravagant balls in honour of someone new and in this case who will along side alpha Phillip take charge of the light moon pack! I know what your going to say, 'but you said that a Luna was never an alphas equal' well guess what, to me it is not but the majority say otherwise! And, if I want to get along with them I have to agree with them.

Anyways, we walked into the ballroom and we were automatically dragged over to along side alpha Dave and his daughter Bianca. Bianca seemed to have a sad look on her face. She had then made eye contact with me but straight after - diverted her eyes to her feet. Whereas alpha Dave had a smile on his face and looked between me and my father.

"Hello fellow alphas! I believe I haven't introduced you to her yet, but this is my daughter, Bianca." He stated still with a smile upon him.

"Well, hello Miss. Bianca. Let me formally introduce you to my daughter, kalani - who is soon to take over my place as alpha." My father said with a smile, I smiled up to him as well.

"Hello Bianca." I said with a fake smile.

"H......hello....alpha kalani." She stuttered. Here the bossy Bianca was, being scared and shy! Well, I for one didn't see that coming! especially from Bianca...

"I understand my daughter has caused trouble towards you kalani." Alpha Dave said with seriousness in his voice.

I nodded to him, and Bianca seemed to stand still. Her eyes opening wider. It honestly looked like she would pass out at any moment,"I see, well Bianca I am very disappointed in you. I thought I raised you up better. Surely I am not raising up failures, hm?" He questioned Bianca.

"No.....no...sir!" She said now shaking.

"Well good, from now on you will be home schooled and until I see improvement in your behaviour - you my dear will be grounded and not be able to attend school until you do improve that appalling behaviour of yours." He said with seriousness still laced in his voice,"or, maybe your uncle can sort you out!"

"N....no.... please father, not.....uncle.....uncle Tony." She whimpered out - in a scared manner. She then continued to look at the floor.

"Very well then, I expect this behaviour to never occur again!" He said in a serious tone yet again.

She nodded before lowering her head back down to the ground. My father and alpha Dave carried on talking - it sounded like they were talking about how each of them were doing but I didn't know as my attention was averted to someone else, Bianca. She looked so scared, so frightened of her father. I felt sorry for her, she didn't deserve to be put on the spot like that, and for me it just killed the mood.

I had noticed that she started to cry, her tears slowly slipping onto the floor; making tiny splashes happen after every tear drop. I quickly loosened myself from my father and went over to Bianca. I had no choice over what my body was doing - it was doing what it wanted - and I quickly had Bianca in a tight hug. I felt her tears lighten, and her sniffles slowly decreasing. After about a minute or so, I held her out in front of me. Her eyes were all puffy as she tried to hide them behind her long blonde hair, I moved her hair and started to wipe the tears away from her cheeks. I looked at her and all I saw was loneliness and regret.

She looked up at me and started to speak with a quite voice,"I'm.......I'm......so.....so...sorry!" Was all that she could say as she bursts out crying again.

"Don't be, you were doing what any other popular girl would do. You were just being the stereotypical mean girl but I had hoped that deep inside you were a kind person. And just by the way your father did speak so highly of you, the way he sounded disappointed about your behaviour - that wasn't you - this, even though it might seem not the best, but this, this is you. you showing emotions, that is you!" I said with a smile.

She smiled weakly, but nonetheless it was a smile! I could feel her thank you's radiating off of her, she was thankful for my forgiveness and I was happy that I made her happy! I knew she regretted her actions and I didn't blame her, for once I felt feelings, I hadn't before.

I had felt an overwhelming sense of happiness and content just by making someone else feel better...

Then the main entrance to the ballroom swung open. Which making contact with the wall, creating a massive BANG!? This then everted everyone's attention to the main door.
