An alpha female? Or a Luna?

Chapter 11 ~ love and hate

As my eyes slowly came back to reality I saw doctors circling around me, I looked to my left and saw the beeping machine, I looked to my right and only saw the doctors who looked like towers in front of me. Who was the person that was crying, who was it? I questioned to myself before a female doctor spoke to me, "Dear can you hear me alright?" I nodded knowing she didn't mean to disrespect me by not referring to me as her alpha.

She let out a low breath, "doctor why are you panicked?"

"Well, if I'm being honest dear I'm worried I have done something wrong-" she sat down next to me, "and the alpha of this pack is here, and surprisingly he came here to see you, dear can I ask you something?" I nodded in response.

"Are you the alphas mate?" I mentally gaged.

"Are you kidding me!" I stated.

"No! Why would I lie, I mean I would have thought you would be our new Luna and all?" She asked puzzled.

I started laughing which made her even more puzzled, "I presume your new here?" I gave her my half eyebrow raised look.

She looked down, "is it that obvious?"

"Well yes it is when you call the alphas daughter his mate." I started to laugh again.

The doctors face turned bright red, "I am so sorry, I didn't know, I just thought that he would be teaching his son the ways of being an alpha." Now I became curious.

"And why would you say that?"

"Because every successful pack needs a male alpha to lead-" I stared at her confused and she catches on, " this is simple logic but if you had a female lead, as soon as she would find her mate she would leave the pack, its in our DNA, we follow our mates, you need to understand that us girls can't lead, us girls would make terrible leaders." She gave a hefty laugh.

I looked at her, anger pumping through me, how dare she! "Well, I consider that offensive-" she now looked up at me confused, "because I am the future alpha of this pack and I demand some respect. And you know what, you are wrong, I was actually on way to go to the council and you know why, my boyfriend and me were about to talk to them so I could still have full claim of the title. " she now stared at me shocked.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you." She said now scared.

My father then came barging through the door, "WHAT BOY?" His voice boomed now enraged.

"I swear I will kill whoever it is!?"

"Dad, calm down! Your scaring the doctor."

"Doctor leave now!" My father said in his demanding tone. And without another word the doctor fled the room.

"Now who the hell is this guy?" My father asked.

"Dad, don't, just don't start."

"Start! start! you started it by ditching school."

"Fine, I won't tell you!"

"And why not?"

"Because of your tone, I suggest you stop acting like a douche and start being more understanding of the situation, and geez dad I am in hospital, I nearly died!" I said now having a scratchy voice from shouting at my father.

"I'm sorry, I just, who is your boyfriend?" He questioned.

Avoiding the question I asked one of my own, "Dad, where is Allan?" I questioned.

"Oh, he....I'm sorry sweetie." And with that my dad left my hospital room.

As soon as my dad left I tried to stand up, as soon as I lifted my head up off the bed it pounded but I wasn't about to let a headache stop me from seeing Allan. As I slowly lifted up my head and my upper body, I looked around the room and this is when I realised I wasn't alone.

Over in the corner of the room was Leo, he looked adorable when asleep, his face looks so relaxed, his mouth had a sweet smile placed upon it. It would be wrong for me to not say that he didn't look hot.

I quickly looked away from him and swung my legs around the bed, my feet touching the freezing floor.

I tried to stand but landed back on the bed, then a whoosh of air went passed me, as two hands wrapped around me, engulfing me in a warm hug. I slightly lent into the hug, the warmth making me feel at home. I came back to reality and tried to look at who the person was but the hug was too tight to see,"please just let me hold you for a little while more." The guys voice started to crack.

I knew immediately who this guy was. I started to push myself away from him, pushing against his chest. He let go and as I looked up to his face, I saw that he was looking down at the ground, "I'm sorry Kalani I thought you were dead." He said with his cracked voice.

"Well clearly I'm alive, now where is Allan?" I asked demanding an answer.

"Allan? Why do you want to know about Allan's whereabouts?" He now had anger filling inside him, his anger radiating off of him.

"Because he was in the car crash with me and he is not only my best friend but he is also my boyfriend. " I said with appalled eyes, which gazed at Leo.

He looked up at me with defeated eyes, "he's down the hall to the left." He looked back down to the ground, and I started to see tear drops drop to the ground making a splash movement.

I got up off the bed and made my way to the hospital door and quickly made my way to where Allan was. Tear drops now dropping from my eyes, I hope he's okay.

I quickly opened up the door to his room, and saw the beeping machine flat, I quickly pushed passed all the doctors to see Allan's lifeless body laying on a hospital bed, "NO! Allan please wake up, please!" I started to cry even more, as I hugged his body.

"Allan, please! Please don't leave me! Please don't leave lily! Please Allan, please!" By the end my voice had already cracked, tears everywhere I was an uncontrollable mess.

I lent down closer to Allan and placed a tender kiss upon his cold but plumb lips. And then I whispered in his ear, "I...I love you Allan, always have and always will." I whispered, my voice cracking in between. I looked back at his face one last time before the doctors pushed me back.

I felt eyes watching me the whole time, it didn't bother me before as I was with Allan but now, I could feel the burning eyes staring at me from behind. I turned around and through the window I could see Leo's eyes, pouring with all types of emotion, but the most visible was sadness and heartbreak, I saw the tears still rolling down his face, his eyes staring at me before I turned back around and stared at Allan, please let him be alright. And as my thoughts kept on going I could hear footsteps walking away, Leo's presence now gone, good riddance!
