A couple hours later I woke up and jumped in my skin for what I saw scared the crap out of me. There was a boy that looked a little younger than me sitting on the end headboard of my bed staring at me. He had slightly long blond hair and gorgeous grey blue eyes. He was wearing a pair of jeans and a white t-shirt. Even though I was now awake he just sat there staring at me. I sat up and looked back at him confused and not as scared seeing as he wasn't doing anything. What should I do? I took a deep breath. "Why are you here?" I asked him. He didn't say anything, just continued watching me. After what seemed like forever he finally opened his mouth and talked. But what he said made my blood run cold through my veins. "I'm here for your soul." He said it with a straight face as he watched me from the other end of my bed. "M... My soul?" I stuttered both scared and confused. He just nodded. "Who are you?" I asked him not daring to move. "My name is Raphael." As he said that a pair of golden wings outstretched behind him. What is he? My eyes went wide with shock and curiosity. I reached for my phone carefully but he didn't move. I texted Daniel asking him to come over and that it was an emergency. I told him that there was a boy named Raphael sitting in my room and told him my address. For the next ten minutes neither me nor the boy said or did anything. I heard a car pull into the driveway and relaxed a little knowing that Daniel was here. The boys head shot up and he quickly stood up. Daniel came running into my room and stopping dead in his tracks when he saw the boy. "What are you doing here Raphael?" he asked the boy like the wings didn't surprise him at all. What is going on? "You know why I'm here Daniel so why do you ask such silly questions. I'm here for the same reason that you are. For her." He looked towards me sending a shiver up my spine. I looked at Daniel confused. "What's he talking about?" he looked back at me and sighed before looking back at Raphael. "You just had to go and blow things." He said to Raphael as a small black tail emerged from the back of his pants and two small black horns appeared on his head. I back away a little not sure whether I should be scared or curious. "He's an angel and I'm a demon. We both have a duty and you're a part of it. But only one of us gets to complete the job because you can only choose one of us." I blinked slowly as I took in the information. "What duty?" I asked looking at the both of them even though I wasn't sure I wanted to know. Daniel sighed and sat down on the edge of my bed looking at me. "We are what are known as soul collectors. We collect souls after a person dies. One of us is from Heaven and the other from hell. Every once in a great while there is a soul that is chosen to be collected while it is still alive. They chose you. You have to decide which of us you want and where you decide to go to strengthen the bond between the two worlds. I wanted to wait and let you get to know us before you found out, but Raphael here had to go and ruin it all." He turned around and glared at the boy who just sat there emotionless. "What will happen to me after I choose?" when I asked that Daniel had a slight look of shock on his face. He apparently did not expect me to respond to this so calmly or so quickly. He looked back at me, his beautiful green eyes seemed to be looking right into my soul. Why am I feeling this way when he looks at me like that? He finally spoke after a moment of just looking at me like that. "Your life will change. Depending on who you choose you will either go to Heaven or Hell. Then you will finish out your schooling in that world if you wish. You will live there but you will be allowed to visit this world anytime you'd like. Then you shall live out the rest of your life in the domain you choose. And until you find another partner your soul collector will stay with you and be your guardian." I looked up at the ceiling thinking about the decision I now had. "How long do I have to decide?" I asked still looking up. He looked down, "Until your eighteenth birthday." That gives me about five months. "Alright." I said looking back down at the both of them. Raphael was looking at me with curious eyes, like I was a puzzle that he couldn't figure out. "You're taking this oddly well." He said saying what everyone was thinking. I shrugged not knowing myself why I wasn't freaking out. "I would like to get to know the both of you before I make my decision."
