The next morning I awoke in my own bed alone. The two boys who I had fallen asleep next to were gone and I was curled up under the covers in my own soft sheets. I sat up slowly and saw a note on my bedside table. 'Kat, Raphael and I are going to go walk around town for a bit and hang out. Have fun at work and we will meet you there at four. Love Daniel.' I looked at the time on my phone to see that it was only eight. I got up and headed to the bathroom only to find it again occupied by Angie. I sighed as I walked back to my room. I picked out my work clothes from my closet and put them on slowly. I felt oddly relaxed, like nothing could bother me. Once eight forty-five rolled around I headed to work without a word to Angie before I left. The day went by quickly, almost as if it were a blur, my thoughts a clouded mess. My thoughts bounced between my dreams, the two boys I had just met, and remembering coffee orders. I was writing down a coffee order when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked up to see a boy with short blond hair and blue eyes that held secrets unknown to anyone. "Come on its time to go." Raphael was looking down at me with a soft expression on his face, Daniel was standing by the door, arms crossed and a smirk on his face."Oh alright. Let me go clock out." I walked to the back of the cafe and clicked out my time sheet. I walked back to the lockers and changed into a separate pair of clothes that I always kept in case of emergencies. By the time I came back they were waiting outside by Daniels black jeep Wrangler. I walked out to them with a smile on my face and a bag in hand with the café's logo on it. I got into the passenger seat, Raphael sitting in the back seat behind me."What's in the bag?" Daniel asked as he turned the key in the ignition. "You'll see when we get home!" I said with excitement in my voice. They smiled as we took off down the road and towards the mall. Once he parked into the crowded parking lot we walked into the mall with one boy on each side of me. "So where should we head to first?" I asked as I looked around at the line of stores ahead of us. "How about there?" Michael pointed to a store filled with posters, magazines, statues, and other home decorations. I nodded and started walking towards the store without hesitation. When we got inside I looked around in awe, there was anything and everything you could ever think of. There were posters of every kind lining the walls, shelves of statues from religious to action figures, from fantasy to quotes. It was amazing.. I walked around the store looking at the posters while Daniel and Raphael looked at the music and statues. When I reached the back of the store I saw a poster that sent a shiver of Deja vu through me. It was a picture of a boy with white wings on one side of the poster, a boy with black horns and a devils tail on the other side, and a girl standing in the middle on her knees, crying. The girl was holding a long silver key in her hands and below her was a giant red pool that looked like blood. I shivered and jumped as I felt a presence behind me. Daniel and Raphael was standing behind me, their eyes glued to the poster."What is that?" I ask looking back at them, not wanting to look at the poster any longer. "I don't know. It looks like us. Like what we are going through right now except without the sadness, the key, and the blood." I shivered again and back away from the poster. "What's wrong Kat?" I heard Daniel say as he looked at me with confusion portrayed on his face. I shook my head and walked out of the store without a second look back. After a minute or so the boys walked out of the store and over to the bench I was sitting on. "Are you ok?"Raphael asked as he knelt down in front of me, his eyes were an icy sea blue color, it was like the ocean had frozen over and that was the color it would look. I shook my head, not able to speak. I didn't know why I had a sickening feeling in my stomach after seeing that poster but I did and it felt as if the world was ending. I fought back tears that were forming in my eyes. "Do you want to head back home?" Raphael grabbed my hand, helping me up as I nodded to answer his question. We all walked back out to Daniel's jeep in deafening silence. My emotions and thoughts were unclear and I couldn't understand the sick feeling I had in my stomach. I shook my head as I dismissed all thoughts from the odd little store. I got in the passenger seat and finally was able to speak. "So umm what's for dinner?" I asked as I buckled up. "Well what do you want?" Daniel asked as he got in the driver side and started up the car. I shrugged and looked back at Raphael who had gotten in the backseat behind me. "How about we just order pizza?" I said not really wanting to do anything. That picture had really gotten to me and I didn't know why. "Pizza sounds good!"they both said in unison which made me laugh. The rest of the ride we spent discussing what kind of pizza to order. When we finally came to a conclusion we were almost home. When we got inside I pulled out my phone and called the pizza place. I ordered two large meat lovers since I knew the boys would likely eat a whole pizza by themselves. We relaxed on the couch watching criminal minds, we all were silent but it wasn't that awkward kind of silence that makes you want to scream. It was relaxing in a way. Twenty minutes later there was a knock at the door. Daniel jumped to his feet with a big grin on his face. "Pizza!" he ran over to the door with such excitement that it was almost funny. I laughed as I watched him exchange the money for the pizza with the delivery man. Daniel and Raphael split one of the pizzas and I took a couple slices out of the other box. We ate out in the living room, another criminal minds was playing on the TV. Silence enveloped again as we ate.
