(sorry for the short chapter)
All of a sudden that world was gone and I was staring at my ceiling. I had some how woken up. That dream was similar to the one I always had but now with less blanks and a whole different meaning. I sat up in my bed and rubbed my eyes which were wet from tears. I had been crying in my sleep. Why? There were too many questions and not enough answers or ways to find out. What do these dreams mean? Why did I feel so sad at the thought of having to choose one of them? Why did my dream always take place in a cold and snowy place? Was it because of the sadness snow can bring? I didn't understand any of it and all it did was make me ask more questions. I looked at the clock on my phone, it was only three in the morning. I sighed knowing I couldn't go back to bed and got up, I walked to the bathroom slowly. I turned the shower on to a nice warm temperature and stepped in, leaving all my questions behind. I let the water pound on my back as I stood there thoughtless, emotionless, and motionless. My mind went blank as the room filled with hot steam from the shower. There was a knock at the door causing me to jump out of my blank state. "Yes?" I shouted over the water wondering who would be up at this hour. "Are you alright?" I heard a deep and sweet voice, it was Raphael. Why was he awake? Had I woke him up somehow? I turned off the shower and wrapped a towel around me. "Yeah I'm fine. Why are you up so early?" there was a moment of silence before he spoke again, "Just woke up. What about you?" I grabbed my clothes and opened the door. "I just had a bad dream is all." I looked up to see him standing there in nothing but a pair of sweats. I blushed a little and walked past him to my room. He followed but waited outside the door so I could get dressed. I closed the door and changed into a pair blue jeans and a red hoodie with a black tank top underneath. I opened the door and he was standing right on the other side of the doorway. I gestured for him to come in and he did. He sat down on my bed and looked up at me with a curious look in his eyes. "What was your dream about?" he asked. I took a deep breath and thought about how to answer his question. "It was about you and Daniel. We were out in the middle of nowhere and it was cold and snowy. You both had your hands out stretched towards me like you were asking me to choose who to go with. But when I tried to speak there were no words. And then I got this weird and sad feeling before I woke up." When I mentioned that they were there it seemed to spark something for him. Like he knew what this dream meant. "Do you know what my dream means?" I asked him hoping to get an answer. He shook his head, "It's nothing probably. But the way you described it sounded like decision day, they day you turn eighteen you are asked to decide which side you chose. But when you said that you weren't able to speak worries me. That wouldn't happen because it would all be about your choice and what you say." I thought that over in my head asking myself what it could mean. "You're right it's probably nothing." I didn't tell him that I woke up crying because I didn't want to worry him. I am going to have to figure out what this means on my own. I sighed and laid back down in my bed thinking about everything that had happened to me in the last couple of days. Raphael left and I eventually fell back asleep.
