Should I Or Should I Not?

"Back in the older days, when your great grandfather, Maxwell Dawson, was still in heaven, he was a higher ranking angel, a guardian angel. His title as guardian angel put him around many humans but angels are forbid from entangling with humans in any way that does not pertain to our jobs. He was in charge of many humans but he took a special liking to one named Annabeth Morel. She was about 19 at the time when they accidentally met for the first time. He knew he should erase her memory of him and make sure not to see her again, but he couldn't, and he would visit her everyday. But one day Michael was checking up on Maxwell only to find him with the girl, their lips entwined. Seeing as this was forbidden, Michael took Maxwell back to heaven for judgement. He was found guilty of sin, lust, and was cast out of heaven. He fell, his wings turned black and his feathers tattered. When he fell he lost most of his angelic powers, so because of this you don't have angelic blood in you but instead fallen angels blood because when an angel falls they are no longer an angel but something else." My great grandfather fell because he fell in love with a human. Then a shocking thought popped into my head. "Wait does that mean that i have wings and powers too?" The question seemed to shock them both as well. I was now sitting up on my bed between the two of them but closer to Daniel. "It is possible but it's hard to say for certain though with how much human blood you have in you but your father still had a good amount of angelic power so it is possible. But to find out we would have to awaken that side of you since you were never exposed to that side of you. It will be hard to do and painful but if you would like I would be willing to help you find out." Raphael seemed as though he was hoping i would say no, but i wanted to find out what i am and what i can do. "I'll help too." Daniel said as i thought out my options. Even while trying to talk myself out of it i knew what i wanted to do. "I want to awaken my powers, if i have them." I saw a flash of disappointment and sadness. "Kate we will have to inflict pain on you to do this. Physical, mental, and emotional pain that could break you. It's not easy." I nodded hearing what he was saying but that didn't change my mind. "I still want to do it." He nodded silently and looked over at Daniel. "Are you sure you will be able to do these things to her Daniel?" Daniel thought for a couple of moments before nodding his head. "I want to help to the best of my ability if this is what she wants." I smiled knowing he would help me. "Thank you both." They both nodded at me before Raphael spoke again. "We will start the process tomorrow. For tonight sleep, process everything that you have learned, and relax." Once they left, after saying their goodnights, I laid under the covers of my bed with the door closed and the lights off for a while before i was able to fall asleep.
