It is Edith, Elliot, Molly, and I at a bridal store waiting for a sales associate to greet us. Don't even ask me how I got dragged into this, but between bickering back and forth with Andrew about freeing up my schedule to help Elliot out with her hectic errands... I find myself here.
The ladies still have no clue that Kit and I used to date. Which is fine with me since it prevents any chaos from emerging.
Molly is perfect. She is perfect from her brown hair down to her flawless pedicure. I can see why Kit has fallen in love with her. Her kindness has no bound, Molly is always wagered to assist when assistance is not needed.
Although we are not close friends she has welcomed me in, to share this special day with her. The day of which she is allowed to gained the attention of everyone in the room, as she jumps from dress to dress in search of the one that will make her cry tears of joy.
That could have been me.
"I think that Kit will love this dress," Edith blushes, the moment Molly steps out in a tulle-over-lace trumpet gown. Her V-neckline and cap sleeves, makes her look even more gorgeous as the beaded lace appliqués brings forth the softness of her skin.
I am jealous.
"You think so," Molly dances around in her dress as the sales associate walks to her with a veil.
It is only her first dress but already Molly is crying up a storm as she admires the way that she looks in her wedding gown from a small mirror that sits across the room.
"I can't believe it, I am getting married," she chants as she wipes the tears from her eyes. By now Elliot and Edith rush to her side where they hug her.
I, on the other hand just stare from my chair. I can't believe that she's getting married myself.
"You guys were meant to be," Edith gloats as she tucks Molly's hair behind her ears.
Elliot look over to my direction. I guess she notices that I am not as excited as they are. She grins at me right before pulling me out of my chair.
"Barbara and I, are going to throw you the best bachelorette party ever," Elliot screams as she waves her arms in the air.
Great. Just freaking fantastic. I've yet again been volunteered to do something that I do not want too.
"So Molly are you saying yes to the dress," Edith shouts.
The room stares in awe as they wait for Molly to give her response. Molly pauses for a while before shaking her head, yes.
In one accord everyone cheers as they congratulate her. Hell, if there were doves in this room they'd be fluttering around her like some kind of fairytale story. Personally, I just want to crawl out of this mess that I've drowned myself in.
Honestly, I just want to come up for air.
