NO WORDS

"Come on everybody, it's like rehearsal get a move on it," the wedding planner shouts as she points to the white limousine outside of the house.

I'm confused as it is because I've only made it to one rehearsal but I rush behind the other bride's maid in order to look like I know what I'm doing. Funny thing about all of this is how completely chaotic everything is compared to rehearsal. You'd think that by now everyone would have their shit together.

"Barb wait, your hair," Edith shouts as she skips to me in her heels. My eyes widen the moment I see her because she looks gorgeous in her beautiful soft teal chiffon dress that's wrapped with a cascading skirt. Her hair is pinned up by a complimentary teal carnation flower while the most breathtaking cubic zirconia teardrop earring hangs down from her ears.

"Yes." I look behind me.

Edith raises her hands to my hair where I find her playing around with it for another two minutes until she stops to take a good look at my face. A smile paints itself across her lips as she hands me a handkerchief. "You look beautiful," she whispers as she follows me down the pathway and into the limo.

"Thanks," I answer as I pretend as if I'm perfectly alright with being part of this wedding.

I'm not. I am actually scared. It's awkward enough that I have to pretend to be happy to be there, especially with Molly who sits across from me eyeing me from head to toe. She hasn't said a word to me, even during rehearsal as we sat next to each other for an hour.

I think Edith can sense the hostility between Molly and I, but she doesn't bother to break the ice. I think everyone in the vehicle can sense the tension. Yet, we all remain silent until we arrive the cathedral.

Edith grabs my hands as we step out of the limo and enter the church, she directs me to the bride's room where she wants to see her best friend for the last time before she's wed off to my brother. I actually want to see Elliot myself. As we knock on the door waiting patiently as Elliot's mother allows us to enter, our mouths drop to the ground.

Elliot looks like a new person. I can't believe that she's even standing there in her astounding sweetheart neckline, laced trumpet dress that is enveloped with beaded crystals. Her hair is coiled up with big curls, pinned with another as a scalloped-edge laced cathedral veil flows down her backside.

"Holy-," but Edith pauses the moment Elliot's mother looks her square in the eyes.

Edith timidly grins as she bows her head down. "You look like you've stole a million bucks," she mumbles as she approached Elliot.

Elliot laughs softly as she reaches over to hug Edith.

I, on the other hand just stare like a creep.

"Come here you odd ball," Elliot waves to me with tears in her eyes.

I don't hesitate and quickly cha-cha my way to her as I embrace her as well. It is odd to be here and just crazy to believe that this woman is about to seriously be part of the family legally. She is going to be my sister in-law, how scary is that? I congratulate her before I take a few steps back allowing her to catch up with Edith before we leave.

"Wait, Barb can you hand this to Andrew for me please," Elliot hands me a box.

I walk up to her and grab the item and just wait as Edith kisses her on the cheek one last time before we step out and head for Andrew's room.

Standing there like a pack of wolves are the groom's men. They are all handsome and polite as they step aside allowing Edith and I to enter the chamber where Andrew is probably freaking out. Knowing my brother well he may be on his third shot of brandy.

"And where is Andrew," Elliot asks the moment she sees Kit standing there all alone.

Kit's eyes fall to mine for a second as he ignores Elliot's question. "Taking a piss," Kit answers truthfully as his face turns red. Quickly he looks away trying to preoccupy himself with other things.

"Alright you two," Elliot sucks her teeth as she looks at the both of us.

"I'll j-jus-just step out," Kit stutters as he quickly skids across the carpeted floor and to the door.

"No you don't you'll stay right here, I'll make my way out," Elliot stops her brother in his tracks as she opens the door behind her and steps out.

The room becomes silent once more as we remain there staring off into the distance too afraid to take a quick glimpse at each other. He looks handsome in his light grey slim fitted tux. He's gelled his hair back into a ponytail and has cleaned off his beard. From where he stands I can smell his cologne as it dances around the room enchanting me in a world of mystery to what his skin might feel like.

"You look..."-Kit pauses. He looks up and slowly makes his way to me.

He has both hands hidden away in his pockets as he stands there staring into my eyes as he tries to find the right words to say.

"Beautiful," I answer softly as I see a smile waltz across his lips.

He nods his head and just smirks to my respond, he's too timid to spark a conversation so instead we just stand there smiling at each other until Andrew walks in interrupting the moment.

"If you guys are done here I'd like to have my best man help me out with this bow tie," Andrew clears his throat.

I gasp and stare elsewhere.

"Please don't mind me continue being weird if you guys are into that kind of thing," Andrew laughs.

Kit takes a deep breath in and marches his way to Andrew.

"I was just telling her how..."-Kit stares at Andrew's sarcastic look.

"You mean she was telling you how beautiful she looks," Andrew corrects Kit as he pats him in the back.

Kit says nothing but instead grabs the bow tie from Andrew's hand and helps him out.

"Elliot wanted you to have this," I point out as I place the box on a chair nearby.

Andrew looks at me and wink. "Thanks," he waves as he rivers his eyes back to Kit who he finds amusing to pester.

"No problem," my voice cracks as I try to take a deep breath in as I turn around to make my way out of the room.

"You look stunning," Kit breaks his silence before I can reach for the door knob.

Quickly I look over my shoulders to see Andrew there with the biggest Grinch grin on his face while Kit turns blood red with his attention focused on the bow tie. Maybe, he's too embarrassed to make eye contact, so I thank him for the compliment and step out.

"Is Kit in there," Molly asks as she strolls up to the door questioning the groom's men.

Her eyes clash with mines the moment she sees me standing there in front of the door.

"Yeah he's in there," one of the groom's men answer.

Molly softly chuckles and crosses her arms over her chest. She looks beautiful and she knows it as she flaunts in her dress as she marches to me.

"Hello Barbara, how are you doing," she asks, but I honestly have nothing to say to her. The last time I was with her she chased me out of her house, drunk and all while I was pregnant.

"Good," I answer as I witness the groom's men slowly dissipate in the background.

"Good, good," and with that she walks around me and enters Andrew's chambers.

I don't know why my heart is racing this fast as she sneers me down, but it is. I literally have no words, none at all when it comes to Molly.
