Chapter 1

Chapter one; goodbye kisses

Eva...

*BEEP BEEP BEEP*
I groan, switching my alarm off for the ninth time this morning. It was way too early, 4am to be precise, but I had a plane to catch. Excitement bubbles up inside me, but as I stretch, catching a glance at peacefully sleeping boyfriend which makes my heart break a little for the millionth time this week. This time tomorrow I would be far from my home, far from my family and most of all far away from my dearest Noah and my closest friends.

I knew that he was anxious about me leaving, not just leaving home, but leaving him and what we had over the past two years to be with Shawn. We'd already had this conversation many times, we were both afraid that the other would move on in our time away from each other, meeting new people, going ahead with our lives, without each other. We had an agreement to FaceTime every night, but it would never be the same. I knew for sure that I would miss being snuggled up in his arms.

"Take a picture, it'll last longer," Noah's amused voice interrupts my reverie. I giggle leaning over and grabbing my phone, taking a picture of the two of us together and setting it as my wall paper, after doing that I cuddle back into his comforting hold, resting my head on his chest, savouring the blissful feeling. Looking over at the clock, realising half an hour had gone by I jump up and get ready to go, I'd be late otherwise and miss my plane. Honestly, at the moment it didn't seem like a bad thing.
Once Noah and I were ready we took my luggage down, and helped my family load everything up in the car. The next hour went by in a blur, all I remember was getting in a car resting my head on Noah's shoulder, staring out at the dark scenery out of the car window. Now, I was being shaken away, and reluctantly I opened my eyes. Only to meet Noah's hazels ones which softened and his lips curved up in a smile.
"We here baby, come on let's go."
We unload my luggage from the boot of the car and head inside the airport. First of my dad comes to give me a hug, and tears start to sting my eyes, threatening to pour out. This was becoming real too quickly.
"Bye kiddo, we'll miss you come back quickly." He says as his voice cracks indicating that he's about to cry, and pulls me into a tight hug. I then move onto my mother.
"Look at you, all grown up! Don't be away too long, you know we'll miss you!" She says, kissing my cheek and pulling me into her embrace. I smell her perfume, the smell I basically grew up on, the one smell which reminded me of home. By now tears were flowing down my cheek. I say goodbye to my older brother, which just consists of him pulling me into a hug, like everyone else but both of us were unable to say anything.
I approach the last person I need to say goodbye to. Noah. The little part of my heart that was still intact shatters. My crying becomes hysteric, luckily there weren't many people at the airport at this early hour to see me break down. Taking a step towards me he says
"Shhh, baby girl, don't cry. You know I can't stand to see you get hurt."

"I-i-I'll miss you," I hiccup "I've changed my mind, I can't stand the thought of leaving anyone behind, I don't want to go!"

"Hush, don't you worry princess, well all be here supporting you for every performance you make, cheering you along. And when you get back we'll all be here, waiting for you. Remember? Together forever? Go get em tiger!"
I pull out of his grasp, at look up at his face, his brown hair was now a mess and his beautiful hazel eyes glistened with tears, which were also down his face. His well defined, high cheekboned, strong jaw lined gorgeous face. He smiles his crooked smile at me, and pecks my lips.
"Don't forget me." He whispers, crunching his eyes shut to prevent more tears from coming out.
"Forget you? Noah, never. Just remember me." I reply back in a hushed tone.

I turn and go towards security, glancing over my shoulder offering all my loved ones a smile. And then I go through the door, the door that separated me from them.
