Chapter 15- Tourbus

An hour or so after I had gotten aboard the bus I had gone to what I suppose I could call my 'bedroom' and I had fallen asleep, however right now I rubbed my sleepy eyes getting up and hearing Shawn strumming on his guitar and singing a song I am unfamiliar with in a low voice. Shawn was, well is, annoying, but I couldn't deny that I love the sound of his voice. It was so soothing and instantly brought a smile to my face. I take a literal step and I am in the living room, one thing you should know about tour busses is that everything is really close together meaning that it is almost like one large moving room.

Upon seeing me Shawn stops singing and places his guitar down next to him and rubs the back of his neck awkwardly

"Hey," he says and I don't know whether it's the fact that I just woke up from my slumber and I was still sleepy but I could trace a smile on his face.

"Hi, what were you singing?" I reply taking a seat across from him, crossing my legs.

"Oh that's just some new music that I'm working on,"

I look at him and nod, and suddenly I somehow manage to pluck up the courage to ask him the question that had been bugging me since the interview.

"Hey Shawn?" he says nothing but looks up from what I'm assuming is his songbook and raises his eyebrows whilst smiling.

"Look, I know this is going to seem like a stupid question but I had to ask anyways. What did you mean yesterday when you said that there isn't a new couple not "yet"?" I say making air quotes while I try to get my point across, looking him in the face and seeing a blush creepy up on his face.

"Um," he nervously laughs "Well-"

"It's not that it's that big a deal, I mean I just wanted to say I'm not available. I didn't think you'd care because you hate me but I needed to let you know I don't have a tendency to lead people on," I take in a deep breath finishing my rant, finally giving Shawn a chance to talk.

"Uh-yeah-no I mean it's fine I didn't really want to know if you were available um you see-" A stumbling Shawn is cut off once again by my phone ringing

"Go ahead take it, we can talk when you come back. I mean I can't exactly go anywhere," Shawn says gesturing around the bus, re-assuring me to take the phone call and grabs his guitar once again.

I smile and head into the "bedroom" finding my phone, seeing that I had three missed calls from Noah. It would have been four but I answered on the last ring, after debating for a short while whether to answer or not, of course.

"Hey Noah," I breathe down the line

"Eva," I could tell by his clipped tone that there was something was wrong

"What's up?"

"Eva," he expresses that one word, well name, to me in such a sad tone making my heart break "I can't do this."

"Noah, hun. What can't you do?"

"Us. This. Whatever we had it's gone isn't it?"

"No, what are you talking about?" I feel tears build up in my eyes

"I saw your interview earlier. You're with him aren't you?"

"Well I kinda have to be considering we are sharing a tour bus. But not in a relationship! You know that I love you and only you,"

"Eva, this isn't fair on me."  I hear a girls voice, that did not belong to anyone in his family faintly shout his name.

"Noah, who's that?"
