Chapter 23

Niall's pov.

I woke up to the annoying sound of banging pots coming from downstairs. I turned around to see the door was shut. So they were just being extremely loud. They must have been clumsy since there was the sound of many pans falling to the floor with loud bangs. It must have woke the sleeping girl in my arms since she hid her face in my chest groaning.

"Please make them shut up." She groaned still half asleep. When I checked the time it was 8:42. Way to early for this. Since I was wide awake now I decided to see who the annoying early waker was.

"Ok just go back to sleep." I said as I pulled my arms away and got up.I walked out of the room closing the door behind me. I walked down the stairs slowly.

Me and Layla were in one room like always. Since the her brothers death she has stayed here. Perrie now lived in the other room next door to Layla's. And Jade took the last room last night and everyone else left late last night after they had a rather long disscusion over something I didn't care to pay attention to.

Once I was down the stairs I walked into the kitchen to see Jade moving pans around. She looked a little confused. And it was actualy kind of a funny sight. I walked in leaning on the doorway.

"Need help?" I asked walking closer.

"Did I wake you up? I'm sorry."She said. I walked to her and took the pans from her hands quietly. I gave her a ressuring smile telling her it was no big deal.

"What were you gonna make?" I asked her and she told me eggs and bacon. They had kept the place stocked with food now that it was no longer an in between house for any members but now Layla and Perrie were staying here. I grabbed out what I needed quietly so I didn't wake up anyone who isn't already awake from the noise before.

Normally Harry cooked at our house but I did know how to cook some things. I began frying the bacon and cooked some eggs for the people awake. I made two plates and let Jade make hers, per her request. I looked at the time and saw it was now 9:13.Good enough. I jogged up to Layla's room walking in quietly.

"Hey love, You awake?" I asked as I sat on the bed, she was now turned over so I couldn't see her face.

"Well now I am I guess." She said turning around so that she was facing me.

"Sorry, but I made you some break fast." I said. "It's downstairs."

"I didn't know" She said sarcasticly.

"I could eat it all and leave you nothing. I will do it believe me." I threatened.

"Alright I'm coming, I'm coming." She said throwing the covers up. She got out of bed and followed me to the kitchen. We walked in and saw Perrie sitting on one of the bar stools. Jade put a plate down in front of her.

"We start now." She said and Perrie perked up visibly.

"Today?" She asked.

"Yes, But not what you think. You need to recover and regain your strength first." Jade told her. " I don't know how you came out basically unharmed. I guess you were lucky." She said and Perrie looked at her like she was crazy.
