Chapter 24

Layla's pov.

I was annoyed beyond compare. He had been perfect to me, but then asks out Perrie. I needed to leave once again. I threw on some clothes and some shoes not caring what I looked like and walked back down stairs.

The tension in the room was immediately noticeable. I pretended not to notice and I paid no attention to Niall and Perrie who sat together in the chair in the corner of the room. Now I saw that Nick was here and he sat by Jade with his arm around her waist.

"Jade?" I said and everyone in the room looked up now noticing my presence. "Is anyone downtown?" I asked and she shrugged.

"No." Nick answered. A wicked grin spread over my face. I nodded to Jade.

"You wanna come with me?" I asked.

"Ok, I guess." she said getting up off the couch. She bent down giving Nick a long kiss.

"Be careful." He said to her.

"I know I always am." She said. As she slipped on her shoes Niall spoke up.

"Layla where are you going?" He asked and I decided to ignore him. "Layla" He said louder.

"She's going to make the rounds today." Nick answered for me. His face twisted in confusion and I remembered he still doesn't know what it means. The corner of my mouth pulled up into a small smirk. We walked out of the door and into the car. I got in the drivers seat and once Jade shut her door I pulled out of the driveway.

We made it to a club soon after. We had been here before and it was busy. I parked across the street from the club and we both stared out of the tinted windows.I saw a figure stumbling by the alley on the side of the building.

"Isn't that Caleb?" I asked pointing to the mans figure that was visible in the dark of the night. She nodded with a wicked grin. I mirrored her expression and we both hopped out of the car. We walked silently over to the large man.

"Caleb." I said and he froze, tensing all over. A smirk played on my face. Jade and I shared a glance.

"You can have this one." She said motioning towards him. I shrugged and took a step forward.

"Caleb, we haven't seen you in a while." I said and he turned to face us. His face went pale at the sight of us. We may both be girls but most people not to underestimate us.

"I promise. Next time I will have it-" he began before I cut him off.

"You said that last time, if I remember." I said looking to the side at him.

"Please La-" He bagan to say and I cleared my throat loudly, making him stop. My anger rising slightly. I was no longer Layla.

"You should know better, especiallly you Caleb. Thats not my name." I said my voice cold. I took my hands out of my jacket pockets, shaking them off.

"I'm sorry, Dark angel." He said holding his hands up. I laughed breathily. It amazed me how easy it was to earn their fright. They were so scared of me. My smirk grew to a twisted smile. I balled my right hand into a fist, swinging it up hitting him in the gut, hard.

Niall's pov

They have been gone for almost three hours now and I was starting to get worried. I looked over and saw Nick looking completely unfazed. Perrie had gone upstairs already since it was getting pretty late now.

The door opened finally and Jade walked through it. She fell down by Nick who kissed her. He grabbed her hand looking it over carefully.

"Don't worry I let her have all of them." She said with a laugh. What did that mean? I became more worried before Layla walked through the door laughing.

"Oh p-please Dark Angel! Please!" Jade mocked as Layla walked up making her laugh harder.

"I don't know why they bother begging." She said almost in disgust and a mock tone. She pulled something out from her jacket and threw it at Nick who caught it. Now I could see it was a huge stack of cash. "250,000." She said. "From Riley and Eric. Go put it away." She added. She really was made for this.

"Yes ma'm" He said and got up leaving the room. I got a closer look at Layla as she sat closer to me. Her hands were bloody and cut in places. She had aome dried blood on the front of her black jacket. Horror was the first thing I felt.

"We have a shipment tomorrow and we can send Sam and Luke out." She said and Jade nodded. I thought it over and it clicked. How did I get involved with these horrible people. How did Layla become one of them? 'He's the reason you got involved with all of this in the first place.'Zac's words replayed in my head. It was because of me.

"Alright well I'm going to go take a shower." Layla said standing up. "Are you guys going to stay here?" She asked.

"No I think me and Nick will go home." She said and Layla nodded before jogging up the stairs. I followed her up to her room. She must not have noticed because when she got into her room she took her shoes off and began to take off her jacket. Her hands went down to the hem of her shirt. Before she could raise it I cleared my throat.

"What the hell Niall?" She said as she saw me. I ignored her reaction.

"Layla whats wrong? You have been acting wierd." I said and she scoffed.

"Who cares." She said and she walked over to one of the dressers. I rolled my eyes.

"Layla-" I began.

"Don't act like you care either." She shot back making my anger rise. I walked forward and was standing infront of her in the blink of an eyes. I grabbed her hips pressing her to the wall by the dresser. She gasped in suprise when her back made contact with the wall. I held her hips tight to the wall.

"Don't say that." I said through gritted teeth. Our faces were only millimeters apart and I was looking down at her just slightly. "Is that what this is about Layla?" I asked my anger showing in my voice. Her lips opened slightly and I looked down at them before glancing back up at her eyes. The one blue and the one green. "Stop being like that. You know I care about you, don't ever say that I don't" I growled through my teeth. Before she could say anything I smashed my lips into hers roughly.

Hey guys this is a horrible and short chapter. I have no excuse besides: I WON! AGAIN! I will update again soon to make up for this though.
