Chapter 30

Niall's pov

Layla walked past me but I didn't follow her. I couldn't take my eyes off of Perrie's bloodied body. No one moved, everyone but me was to shocked to move a muscle.

She turned her head slowly looking at me with a moan. She looked at me with pleading eyes as if she was waiting for me to help her.

"Is it true?" I said looking at the wall behind her. I couldn't look at her right now. But when she said nothing I dared to look back down at her to see her eyes welling up with tears.

I let out a breathy laugh. "Your fucking unbelievable." I muttered and turned to walk out.

"Niall." it came out in a low raspy sound of agony that hurt me to hear but, I couldn't give her my sympathy.

I turned back to look down at her one last time. "Don't do that, you know what you got yourself into. Layla took you in and cared for you, She protected you, she actually gave a damn, i can't believe I actually gave a damn." I shook my head. "Ed wouldn't think twice about you. Sorry to say it but honestly, don't fool yourself, he would be happy if you were to die." I hated saying this to her but she had to know.

"Niall I-"

"Coming from your old friend, I hope you have enough sense to leave before you get hurt." I said and turned around.

I walked away hearing sobs coming from behind me but I didn't dare to turn around. When I got out side Layla was already gone and I ran to catch up with her. Finally after a couple blocks I caught up.

She was ferociously typing on her phone and I thought her phone would crack. She put it up to her ear and I noticed all the blood on her knuckles. It was sickening. And although I watched it happened it still made a knot in my stomach knowing that all of that blood came from Perrie.

She hadn't even seemed to notice I was at her side. I followed anyway and in the silence that surrounded us while we walked I could faintly hear the ringing of her phone

"Nick- I can't explain now just get everyone to the house and I'll meet you there" She said and hung up. She didn't say goodbye or anything like that she just hung up and put her phone in her back pocket.

"Come on we need to go" She said and she started running leaving me to catch up.

Layla's pov

When I walked into the house everyone stood up and I saw that we were all here with the exception of Perrie. I walked to the table and leaned over it while I tried to catch my breath and everybody else surrounded the table too.

"What happened?" Erika asked almost immediately.

"Perrier a rat." I said bluntly and Jade tenses up next to me. Everybody was at the table and when the door shut I knew Niall would be waiting behind me while I explained this.

"Ok so with what I could do while being watch she, she can't do anything just yet. We need to do this now! We have to follow through before she has a chance to tell Ed that we know. But now we have to change the whole thing." As I continued to go through the new plan I was aware of Niall's presence right behind me but payed no attention got it due to the circumstances.

"So when can you get those?" I finished.

"Uh, tomorrow morning?" Erika said sounding skeptical.

"Not soon enough we'll have to work with what we have. Everybody be ready in an hour. "

Hey guys! this is probably the worst update I've ever written, and that's saying something!! But i feel like I haven't updated in forever so here's this and I'll update very soon.
