The guys and I walked into Honor and Josh's home, and she greeted us in the foyer.

"Rory!" She cried, wrapping her arms around me. "Oh my god, I'm so happy you're here! I've missed you!" She gushed.

She pulled away and looked at me judgingly. She studied me so hard I started questioning myself! What was she looking at!? Did I forget to brush my teeth this morning? Did I gain like 500lbs? Oh my god - could she tell!?

"You look simply fantastic, Rory! You must give me the brand of the moisturizer you use, because your skin is practically GLOWING!" She insisted.

I laughed nervously.

"Um, thanks! I'm just blessed with good genes, I guess!" I dodged.

"Oh Rory, gosh! We have so much to catch up on! But first things first - we need to rescue my brother" she reminded.

"What!? Like right now!? Is he here!?" I asked with my eyes darting around in panic.

Honor smiled warmly, "No, silly. He's still at home in London. I just meant we need to go over the plan - and we can't waste any more time talking about anything else in the meantime!" She said.

I nodded, taking a deep breath. My heart was pounding. I hadn't realized how scared to death to see Logan I was until that very moment.

Suddenly my phone started vibrating in my purse. I didn't want to be rude so I tried to ignore it.

"Do you need to get that?" She asked.

I hesitated and then I started to fish it out. "It's my mom" I announced, looking at the screen. "She's been on her honeymoon in Hawaii and we haven't talked much because of the time difference" I explained, hoping she wouldn't mind if I answered it.

"Go ahead, we'll be in the living room just through there whenever you're finished" she said pointing in the direction, and then excusing herself to go in with the guys.

"Hey, mom!" I said happily. "Your little jellybean is just fine" I answered. I cursed myself for letting it slip, hopefully no one heard it.

"I'm actually not with Jess right now, I'm not even going to be in Stars Hollow again for another couple of days... No, I'm not visiting grandma either, although I should probably do that soon... actually, I'm here at Honor's place... Honor formerly Huntzberger - I'm not actually sure what Josh's last name is, now that I think about it... No I haven't talked to Logan... he's not even here, Honor says he's in London... I'm here because she invited me - plus Finn, Robert and Colin. We're trying to come up with a plan to break up Logan and Odette... No, of course this isn't high school, but - ... Mom she's horrible to him! To him, to his friends, even to his SISTER! He deserves someone who won't make him miserable for his entire life..." I defended.

I was silent while I listened to her go on and on about how this was a bad idea to get involved, how I would just be pushing him further away if I scheme against him, and how she absolutely didn't agree with what I was doing.

"You don't have to agree with me mom, but I've got to try. Just at least respect me enough to know that I'm doing the best I can to try to win back the love of my life" I pleaded.

I glanced down the hall and remembered they were all sitting in the living room waiting for me.

I sighed deeply. "Mom, I'm sorry, but - I've got to go. They're all in the other room and I don't want to be rude... I love you, mom. Bye" I said, and hung up.

"Everything okay with your mum, Love?" Finn asked as I walked into the room.

I rubbed my hand over one arm awkwardly and nodded. "Yeah, she just doesn't think my meddling in their love life is such a good idea" I told them.

"Oh Rory, please don't back out now! We need you! LOGAN needs you!" Honor insisted.

I took a deep breath and nodded.

"If I backed out of everything my mom didn't approve of..." I started. They all looked at me blankly and I suddenly realized I had nothing to add to that.

"I'm not backing out," I promised, "Logan needs me."
