"You ready, Love?" Finn asked with a light knock on my bedroom door.

I took a deep breath and sighed, looking at my reflection in the mirror.  The girl staring back at me was so beautiful with big blue eyes full of hope and determination.  I've come this far - I'm not quitting now until I've followed through with the entire plan - whatever the heck that even was.

But was I ready?  Was that even a question?  Ready for what, exactly?  To ruin the life of some girl I'd never met before?  To look her right into the eyes and lie about who I am?  Or why I'm there?  Pretending that Logan and I don't know each other?  Wouldn't she be able to see the heat, the magnetism, the PASSION between us?  It's not something either on of us can just turn off when we want to, we've proven that to be true - it's an undeniable natural reaction!

Was I ready?  To eventually tell him, plus the guys, and his sister, that I was pregnant with his child?  But I couldn't do that unless he chose me.  And we don't know who he'll choose.  He's chosen her over me before...

Was I ready?  Ready to beg him to be with me instead of her?  Ready for the chance he would say no?  Ready to put my heart on my sleeve, to be so raw and at his mercy?

"In omnia paratus - I'm ready for anything" I whispered to myself, sealing in all of the confidence I could muster with another deep breath.

I opened the door to see Finn leaning in the right side of the door frame.  He was resting his head into the curve of his right elbow, his entire arm lifted above his head.

"You look positively radiant, my darling.  If Huntzberger won't have you, you've certainly won my heart" he said with a smile and a wink.

I laughed, looked down and blushed, not really knowing how to respond to that.  He chuckled and held out his arm to escort me.

"Let's go get you your man" he murmured into my ear as I took his arm in mine.  A wide smile spread across my face as the words came out of his mouth.

"You sure you're up for this kiddo?  We don't need you having another dizzy spell like before.  You have no where to lie down in Vegas - at least not without a stripper or a show girl getting involved - and I'm not sure that would help your dizziness any..." mom teased.

I laughed.  "I think I'll be okay.  But we'll see" I said.

"So what's the new plan, exactly?" Paris asked.

"New plan?" Colin asked tonelessly.

"Yeah, as in what do we do once we get there?" Lane asked.

"The plan is...  Well...  You see, it's..." Robert tried to say.

"The plan is that there is no plan" Finn said.

"There's no plan!?" Honor asked in horror.

"Well, darling, as soon as scotch gets involved, you don't tend to think about much else..." Finn continued.

"There's no plan?  Oh my god, guys!?  How is there no plan?" I asked, starting to panic a little bit.

"Calm down, Love!  We don't HAVE a plan because we don't NEED a plan.  All we need is Logan to see you and the rest will take care of itself" Finn said.

"You forget how long Logan and I were together where he could've chosen me over her and he didn't..." I reminded.

"Just relax.  Just pretend you girls are some of Honor's friends from back home, like we talked about.  Odette will likely ignore you for the entire night anyway, and so you won't have anything to worry about" Colin said reassuringly.

We all agreed, since we had no better option, currently slightly less sure of ourselves.

"You going to be okay, Love?" Finn asked.

"In omnia paratus, right?" I asked with a distant smile.

"Right" he said with a smile of his own.

Logan gave his drink order to the bartender.  He hung back at the bar a while longer than he should have, he was just trying to find an escape from the reality he was in right now.  This was supposed to be his time, with his friends, but it turned into an all-about-Odette party.  He laughed a little to himself, wondering why he expected anything different.  He may have caught a rare peek into her nice side on the plane, but that was quickly erased as she spent the evening drinking, yelling, flirting, demanding attention and being overly obnoxious.  What could his father possibly see in a future for him with her?  She's beautiful, he'd give her that, but that easily ignorable by her horrible, needy, pushy, ugly personality.

"Odette!  Hi!  How are you!?" Honor asked in fake friendliness, giving her a mandatory hug with a kiss on each cheek.  "I hope you don't mind, but I wanted to bring a few friends of mine with me so I can stay out of your hair for the evening and let you have fun!  This is Paris, and Lane, Lorelai and Rory" Honor introduced.

"Wow, I will NEVER remember them, but hey!  Buy me a shot!" Odette said as more of an order than a suggestion.

"So...  Where's our boy, Logan?" Colin asked, looking around.

I'd been looking for him, too, but I didn't want to ask about his whereabouts and blow our cover already.

"Oh, he's floating around here somewhere.  He's so dramatic, that one.  He drinks like a fish every day, and as soon as I get drunk he gets all pissy" Odette said, rolling her eyes, her speech slurring like crazy.

I watched her carefully.  THIS GIRL!?  THIS is 'the one' the Huntzberger's want for Logan?  Are you kidding me?  Provided I know she's drunk and isn't making the best first impression, but with everything else I've heard about her, too?  There's no way I can let him marry a girl like her.  I did a scan around the room, trying to find him with no avail.  Where WAS he?

"He's at the bar.  I just got a text" Robert said, putting his phone back into his pocket.

I looked over to the direction of the bar and I finally found him just as he puts his phone away and looks up at our table.   Just as he was about to stand up, I could feel the air getting sucked out of the room as soon as his eyes met mine.  The look changing quickly between shock, horror, confusion, disbelief...

I suddenly felt a pit in my stomach.  I started to panic.  He didn't want me there.  I shouldn't have come.

And then all of a sudden, his eyes danced.  His smile grew.  He was HAPPY to see me.  I tried as hard as I could to keep the tears from coming to my eyes as I watched his changing emotions pull at me.  I loved this man so damn much, and I needed him more than the air that I breathe.  WE needed him.  I finally remembered to allow myself to smile back at him, never losing eye contact.
