27. Growth

After C9 had made it to the Worlds finals, before receiving a crushing defeat from the one and only SK Telecom 1, the organization had been growing insanely. Of course, everyone was a little devastated by the fact that C9 didn't win worlds, but they were mostly impressed with how far they had gotten, especially after bringing on a last minute sub.

Bunny was still recovering, the cast was gone, he was just getting back into the swing of things.

His viewers seemed to enjoy the recovery journey of him attempting to get his skills back, and he was doing fairly decent so far.

"I'm really proud of you all." Danan had said after the 5th game was dropped to SKT.

There were a lot of tears from the team, most of the members upset that they had gotten so far, but were unable to make the dream come true.

"Me too," Jack stepped in, "you all performed your hearts out, and I couldn't be any happier with how far you got."

Venus and Bunny were standing slightly outside the circle the team had formed.

"You know." Venus turned to Bunny. "You're the one that got them here in the first place." She smiled and wrapped her arms around his waist.

He kissed the top of her head.

"I'm sure glad I did."

"Me too."

Worlds had been two months ago and the spring split was about to start. The team had received numerous sponsorships and major funding after their amazing Worlds run.

They had been able to upgrade their computers and purchase all kinds of crazy new gear for the boys. Some of which included new photography gear for Venus to "borrow".

"Venus?"

"Hm."

The two were sitting in Bunny's room, Venus on the bed, Bunny at his desk waiting for his computer to load everything so he could stream.

He stood up and walked over to where the girl was sitting. He sat next to her and wrapped his arms around her.

"Did you know that you're my favorite person ever?"

She giggled and he pecked her cheek.

"Well, you're also my favorite person, if that counts for anything."

The two laughed at each other.

"Can we order pizza?"

"That sounds so good!" Bunny nearly screamed.

The two worked together to order a pizza online, already paying for it so there were no problems with the door.

Around a half an hour later the pizza arrived, Jensen had been kind enough to bring the pizza to Bunny's room. However, as he opened the door he managed to send the pizza flying towards the floor.

Venus gasped, alarmed at her pizza lying in a pile of death on the floor.

"JENSEN GOOOO FUCKK YOURSELLLLLFFFF!" Bunny said jokingly as he helped Jensen attempt to salvage what was left of it.

Once the mess was cleaned up, Bunny and Venus settled on ordering a new pizza entirely, this time not letting Jensen be the one to answer the door.

Sound familiar xdddddd. This is the last filler before I wrap up the book. Just kind of insight on what happened to the team :)))

I really just wanted to include Jensen dropping the pizza, is that bad?
