7. Stutter

Venus didn't know what to do. She stood there, baffled at what he said. She felt another blush creep up onto her cheeks.

"Vee!" Venus snapped her head around and saw Casey. 

"Casey? What are you doing here?" She was surprised to see her friend. 

"I had the day off and I figured I would come watch the games and see you while you're at work!" He exclaimed. 

She was actually glad that Casey had come to her rescue, she wasn't sure what she would do about it. 

"Hey, the uh, the one I liked, kinda just called me cute..." She blurted out really quick and then covered her mouth, a heavier blush replacing the already dark one on her cheeks. 

"Oh god Venus." He smirked and pulled her into a hug. "Let's go get you this boy." 

Vee pulled away and shook her head, her hands still covering her mouth. 

"Why not?" 

"I just, I'm not ready, plus I don't want to bother them."

"Whatever you say." Casey winked. "I'll get one of them boys for myself." He said proudly and started walking inside. 

Venus panicked before realizing she needed to go back in and ran to catch up with him. 

"Fine, maybe we can try to talk to one of them okay? Just one though, it doesn't even have to be the one I like alright?" 

Casey's smiled widened. 

"Alright Vee." He agreed and the two made their way inside towards the back. 

"I'm not sure if you're even allowed back here." Vee admitted, "but I guess if anyone asks we can just tell them that you are here to assist me or something dumb like that." 

Casey nodded, and was sure to keep himself in line as they made it towards Cloud 9's practice room. 

Conveniently, the two found that the door was open so they could just walk in. 

Vee attempted to look in the room before they actually made it there, and saw that the boys were just kind of mingling, and they wouldn't be interrupting anyone by going inside. 

She tried to hide the blush that was spreading across her cheeks as they got closer to the room. 

"You wait here." Casey said, and motioned for her to stay outside the room,. 

"Fine." Venus breathed a sigh of relief, glad that she didn't have to go into the room with him. 

She smiled to herself, and tried to keep a positive look on what might happen. So far she only knew that Casey was going to try and get Bunny to actually talk to her or something like that, he wasn't very specific about what he was going to be doing. 

A million things rushed through her head. Her eyes quickly darted to the time on her phone. Crap, I'm going to be late for taking photos for the next team! It was a lame excuse, if it was even an excuse at all, there was no such thing as being late, but for some reason her mind really just wanted her to get out of there. 

Venus let her mind get the best of her and she started walking down the hall towards her next room. 

"Wait Venus! Can I talk to you?" She heard a voice behind her call. She turned slowly on her heel, careful not to let it squeak against the floor. 

"Uh.. sure..?" She mentally face palmed, of course she wanted this guy to talk to her, why would she not say it as if she were questioning herself. 

He took a few steps towards her. 

"Well, uh, I'm really bad at this kind of stuff." Venus said. 

"Don't worry." Bunny reached out his hand, offering to take hers. "It's pretty cute when you don't know what to do." He smiled sweetly.

She slowly reached out her hand to meet his. 

"I was wondering if maybe you wanted to go out with me sometime?" Bunny asked her. 

"Oh uh- I would, I really can't, I'm really busy and I'm sorry." She stuttered out. 

"Oh, that's okay, I get it." Bunny said, a solemn look playing on his face. 

"No, no, that's not what was supposed to happen." Vee said, mentally kicking herself. 

"What do you mean?" He looked at her confused. 

"What I meant is that...-

Uhhhh yeah stuff. 

I'm at a spot in my life right now where I almost feel like a burden to everyone and it kind of sucks. Like every time I talk to some one I find myself constantly apologizing for bothering them. Idk how to feel differently, no one really tells me if I am or if I'm not bothering them so idk. 

Anyways, I hope you guys are doing well!
