You made your way down the hallway to his room. You knew you were taking a risk, trying to approach him so soon after another fight with Laito, but you couldn't help yourself. You brought your hand up to the door and hesitated.

Should you really try seeing if he's okay?

With a silent sigh, you rap your knuckles against the wooden door gently. You waited a few seconds before trying once more, saying his name along with it. When he didn't answer, you sighed again and turned away.

"No luck with your boyfriend?"

You rounded the corner and came face to face with the one and only Laito. Rolling your eyes you turn back around and head in the opposite direction. "Get lost, Shitface."

"Ouch, that hurt _______-chan," Laito said, appearing in front of you with a sad face, holding his chest.

"Like you have feelings."

He looked down at you with a smirk on his face, "Why don't you give up on chasing poor little Subaru, huh?" He leaned closer to your face, but you didn't budge. "Why don't you give me a try? We all know Subaru is just a messed up little boy still who doesn't trust the other gender." Laito shrugged, "For all we know, Subaru could be gay."

"And you and I both know I'd never be interested in a pervert like you." You turned on your heel and walked away, hoping Laito would just go away. You didn't feel like fighting him today. "Just leave me alone, Laito."

You found yourself alone the rest of the day. Subaru hadn't come out of his room the rest of the day and you weren't up to being around any of the other boys.

"Stupid Laito," you mumbled, laying back in the grass and closing your eyes. "He needs to just shut his fat mouth."

"Maybe we should sew his mouth shut."

Your eyes shot open and you looked over to your right. "S-Subaru!"

He gave you an annoyed look, "What?"

Your cheeks flushed red as you smiled and closed your eyes. "I'm glad to see you finally came out of your room."

He laid down beside you and closed his eyes, "Whatever. I'll go back if you annoy me."

You chuckled, "Well, I'll just make sure I don't annoy you."

You lay in silence for a few minutes before he speaks again. "So, _______, I have a question."

"Yes?"

"When Laito referred to me as your boyfriend, you didn't deny it."

Your face flushed red again and you rolled away from him. "I-What? Really? I was sure I did. I mean, why wouldn't I? I mean-"

He sat up and rolled you back towards him, an angry look on his face. "If I'm going to let you refer to me as that, you've got to understand one thing."

"And that is?" You were hoping he couldn't see you trying to hide your shaking. Mad Subaru was scarier than getting caught alone with Pervert-Laito in a small closet.

"You break my trust and I'll break your head." His eyes didn't leave yours as he threatened you.

Your fear quickly turned to whatever the feeling is when you start laughing at someone.

"Why the hell are you laughing at me?"

You raised your hands up in defense, "No, I'm not-" you paused, "Okay, I'm laughing at you, but only because of your lame threat."

"Lame!?" He clenched his fists tightly, "I mean it! I-"

You cut him off by giving him a small peck on the lips, "I know. You'll crush my head." You gave him a small, innocent smile, "Don't worry, you have nothing to worry about."

*So, yeah, I haven't watched Diabolik Lovers in such a long while, but I have to say, I'm glad I got this request. I absolutely love Subaru!! And I've been so busy and full of shit to do and I'm glad I found time to write this.... at 1 in the morning. I hope you lovelies enjoyed!!!
