You laid in his arms silently, starting up at the ceiling after another night of unloving sex. He knew you didn't love him as much as he wanted to think you loved him but it wasn't something he could help. You didn't decide your fate with him. No, instead your fate was sealed the day you were born. And when you turned off age, you were forced out of your house and into the house of someone you barely knew.

He got up, kissing your lips gently before going to the bathroom to wash up befor the day began.

A silent tear ran down your face as you rolled over and curled into a ball, pulling the sheets closer around your body. As you drifted back to sleep, you let your thoughts wander to your secret lover.

"I didn't think you'd come today," Kanda's voice was deep and soothing, filling you with warmth. He was calm, steady, collected, didn't push for anything and understood your situation, for he himself was in the exact same one with another.

And I will not ask you to get rid of it. We shall keep it secret."
