"Are you excited for us to go to your school, sweetheart?" I ask my four year old daughter.

"Yeah!" She replies enthusiastically.

I look at her through the rearview mirror and smile as she plays with her Barbie.

Truth be told, I'm nervous. This is the first time I'm spending more than five minutes with Jack after our breakup.

But we both wanted to support our daughter so we're going to her school together for parent teacher conferences to show we can get along.

I help Vienna out of the car when we get to the school and she runs up to Jack who's waiting in front of the school.

"And there the little princess is!" He says, spanning the camera towards Vienna.

She giggles and attaches herself to his legs.

He turns the camera off and picks her up, planting kisses all over her face.

She's still shrieking and giggling when I approach the pair.

"Hi Y/N," Jack greets me.

"Hello Jack," I smile politely.

It's silent for a while.

We always swear to make it comfortable for Vienna but with our relationship ending in a pile of arguments, it's hard to do.

"Ready to see your teacher, V?" I ask the blue eyed girl.

"Let's go," she points her little finger towards the school.

We laugh, walking inside and towards the 4K and 5K wing.

"Wow, Vienna is such a perfect mix of you two," Mrs. Baker, Vienna's teacher, comments as we walk into her room and sit down at the table.

"Thank you," I reply.

When Jack and I were together and took Vienna places, people always used to say that to us.

She got Jack's eyes and nose and my lips and hair.

We wait patiently as Mrs. Baker looks for Vienna's file, while the toddler runs off to play.

"And she has such a pretty name," the graying lady compliments again.

"Thank you," I repeat.

I feel Jack's eyes on me but I refuse to meet them.

Vienna is special to us and I know he wants me to look at him to feel that connection we felt when we first met, but I don't think I can handle that right now.

"We met in Vienna," the blonde informs her, "She threw herself at me."

"I did not throw myself at you," I defend myself, finally meeting his eyes.

"You pushed three girls to the ground," he reminds me.

"They were elbowing me!"

"You elbowed back!"

"Because I wanted to meet you!"

He smirks at me.

My eyes widen at my words, realizing I proved him right.

"Dammit." I run my hand through my hair and he laughs.

"If Vienna swears a lot, it's because of her," my ex-boyfriend points towards me.

"Are you kidding? You say the f word every other word."

Mrs. Baker coughs and we snap our heads towards her.

She has a small smile on her face and looks amused. "As amusing as this is, let's talk about Vienna."

She tells us about what a good student and how friendly Vienna is.

"You two are the cutest couple I've ever met," Mrs. Baker says as she walks us out of her classroom.

"Thank you," Jack replies as I'm about to say we're not a couple.

I give him a weird look but don't say anything.

It remains silent as we walk outside to the playground.

"Vienna, why don't you go play on the playground? I'll join you in a second, I want to talk to mommy first," he tells her.

She nods and skips off towards the woodchips.

The rapper turns towards me, and before I can say anything he pulls me in for a kiss.

The kiss is full of everything that we missed from the past three months.

Passion, love, trust, communication.

We pull apart after a while, resting our foreheads against each other.

"I missed that," I admit softly.

"Me too." He squeezes my waist. "Can I move back in?"

I'm hesitant to reply but he cuts me off first.

"We can work it out- we can actually talk it out and be together for Vienna and our future babies-""Future babies?" I widen my eyes.

"Vienna needs siblings, and we need fun time," he gives me a smirk and I laugh.

"Fine, Johnson. You can move back in and we can try us again."

"Yes," he picks me up and twirls me around.
