"I see that you will agree to the marriage term, then," spoke the blonde guard.

Her voice brought you back to the fact that there were other people around, for you had forgotten that fact for just a moment in time. Heart released you, permitting you to turn towards the two guards. Both stood tall and straight, as though they were trying to mirror the structure of the spears they were holding in their hands.

"Yes, but only the officiant will be present besides the two of us. No one else will be necessary," you stated, not wanting to have a multitude of strangers watch your wedding.

"That will be easy to fulfill for the ceremony, as for everything else you must follow our customs. I'm not sure how outsiders perform weddings, but we have our traditions that you will follow. If you fail to do this, the wedding will be nullified," explained the brunette.

"That's fine," you answered, though, you couldn't help but glance at Heart, who was starting to concern you.

This was due to the fact that he was suddenly coughing. They were short coughs, which would stop after several of them, but they would come back within seconds. Asking him if he was okay, he just mentioned that he would fine and to not worry. With suspicion in your eyes, you slowly nodded before indicating for the guards to go on.

"Well, then I won't trouble you with the long details. You will learn of them as you go. Thus, if you take the narrow path to the left of the palace, you'll make a right turn and come upon several stone gazebos. There the two of you will prepare for the ceremony. Once we see the official Rinnedian rings, we'll allow you inside the Queen's estate," finished the blonde.

Merely nodding in response, you turned away from the two guards and began down the left path with Heart, who was only beginning to cough more. About halfway down the road, you halted your movement, since now there were no breaks between the coughs. Likewise, they were getting louder and sounded more serious. When you were about to ask him what was wrong, you saw him falling forward. Quickly, you ran in front of him and grabbed his upper arms to support him. The moment you made contact, his body went limp in your arms, making it all the harder to hold him up. Noticing his eyes closed, you could only figure that he became unconscious.

Not being able to hold him up that well, you slowly brought the two of you to the ground and ignored the looks the guards were sending your way. Managing to turn him over, so that the back of his head was resting on your lap, you brushed a few of the red and blue locks away from his face with your right hand. Surprisingly, though, his state of unconsciousness didn't last long, as you saw his eyes flickering open once more. When they fully opened and locked onto your gaze, you could tell that there was a slightly different look to them despite the fact that the color didn't change.

Hesitantly, you asked, "D-Diamond?"

"Ah, Miss _____, it seems that I have been having quite the strangest of dreams," he started before he quickly narrated the events that happened in the past hour while Heart and you were in Rinned. "I must say that the gate protector's magic had quite the side effect, which reminds me. Miss _____, why am I on your lap, and where is my brother?"

Sighing, you simply told Diamond that everything in his dream had actually happened, which meant that there was another piece to the spell that the woman put on the brothers. Hearing Diamond lay out the detailed accounts of what happened while he was dormant in their new body, you could only figure that both brothers experienced the events that were occurring to them regardless of whether they were awake or not. After Diamond learned the truth of the matter and reasoned out the bits of information, he came to the same conclusion as you. Granted, it wasn't hard to notice the pain in his eyes at discovering what happened to his brother and him. Letting out a sigh of his own, he sat up from your lap before recovering himself to his feet.

"Before we head off to these stone gazebos, Miss ____, I just want to give you my thanks with regards to your response to my brother about the marriage ceremony. Despite the dreadful location and the current circumstance, just know that I am beyond satisfaction to be eternally yours."

Crossing your arms over your chest and glancing to your right side, you attempted to hide the light pink on your cheeks while mumbling, "Even if I wasn't marrying you two, I'd be forever stuck with the both of you."

Moving closer to you and permitting only about two inches between you two, Diamond placed a gentle kiss on your forehead before moving his lips to your left ear and whispering, "I'm glad you realized that, Miss _____." Stepping away from you a bit and smiling at your increased blush, he added, "Now, let's proceed with this wedding of ours. Afterwards, I intend to get back my brother's own form. That accursed woman went too far, and if she tries anything else, I will take great pleasure in painting my nails with her blood."

Watching him stare at his nails, with a strong lust for blood in his eyes, caused a chill to run up your spine. You would never get used to when Diamond would lose his calm composure. In all honesty, it was absolutely terrifying to behold. Even in his current state, he was frightening, and you were worried to break him out of his trance like state. Not wanting to wait around for awhile, though, you carefully reached out your right hand and rested it on his left upper arm. The contact instantly broke him from his daze, causing a monstrous look to possess his eyes for just a second. Thankfully, it went away and his usual expression took over. Retracting your hand from his arm, you took a few steps back before turning on your heel and going back down the path while Diamond walked beside you on your left side.

On the way to the gazebo, the two of you didn't say anything. Besides, Diamond looked to be too absorbed in his thoughts. Despite his neutral countenance, you knew his mind was focusing on darker things. Unlike Heart, who expressed his grief openly through a slight mental breakdown, Diamond decided to take a different route. Personally, you couldn't get his statement about his nails out of your head. Frankly, the tone he utilized at the time was as if a creature from the darkest depths had possessed him. You just hoped that none of the women, who worked in wedding preparation gazebos, had blue hair. If they did, Diamond may very well murder them.

When the two of you finally reached the stone gazebos, you both walked up the steps of the one in the front, and pushed aside the thick salmon pink curtains. Entering the place, you were greeted by a woman in a simple short white chiffon dress. She had orange shoulder-length hair and blue eyes while nothing covered her feet. As for the furniture in the room, you just a noticed a stone bench on each side of the gazebo. These benches were decorated with salmon pink and orange cushions and pillows.

"Will the groom go to my right and the bride to my left," the woman said simply while extending out each arm, as she stated which direction to take.

"You're not even going to question who we are?" you asked, since you were wondering how she knew you two were newcomers.

"I can tell by the pink butterfly flying above your heads. The front guards of the estate send one with any newcomers," she responded, bearing a condescending smile.

Peering upwards, you did indeed see a pink butterfly above the two of you. Granted, it flew away soon, presumably done with its job. You probably didn't notice it because of the fact that you were focused on getting into the Queen's estate and leaving this city for good. Moreover, Diamond's current mood was most unsettling, regardless of his outward expression.

"Try not to kill anyone, Diamond," you muttered, making sure that only he could hear you.

"Of course, I won't, Miss _____. My blood lust is currently restrained."

"Well, that's good to hear," you murmured to yourself before you went towards the left hall.

A light laugh escaped his lips, indicating that he heard you. Rolling your eyes at this, you smiled lightly to yourself before disappearing into the left hall. As for Diamond, he entered the right hall, and you could hear his footsteps growing faint while you continued down your direction.

Like the gazebos, the halls were made out of dark grey stone as well, though, they didn't have fabric curtains. In place of the thick material, there were pink morning glories working their way up the stone pillars in the hall. It was quite beautiful, but its appealing nature was lessened by everything that had just occurred. Moreover, you didn't look forward to meeting this queen. You just wanted information to solve the puzzle, yet you had the pleasure of meeting a queen, who implemented a most frustrating law.

Frowning at the thought of talking to this woman, you found the flowers even less attractive. Looking up ahead, however, you saw an open doorway. Strings of honeysuckle blocked you from seeing the inside of the room up ahead. Still, you managed to hear running water, as the sweet scent of the flowers began to fill your nose. Wondering what you were going to have to experience in the near future, you pressed onward and hoped it wouldn't be anything too irritating.
