Chapter 12: Kaluluwang Ligaw

"May mali tayo na nagawa noong birthday ko." Sabi sa akin ni Taylor bigla. Nagkakape pa rin kami sa pantry ng hospital.

"Hindi kita maintindihan Taylor." Sabi ko.

"I'm sorry. I guess its my fault as well. Hindi naman na lingid sa kaalaman ninyo na mahilig ako sa mga topics about afterlife and ghost stuff. I can even also see ghost because of my third eye that is opened." Medyo kinakabahan na ako sa kanya. Saan ba papatungo ang conversation namin ni Taylor ngayon?

"Demi, if you still remembered we played the ouija board on birthday party with Juno and Nick. Whatever you witnessed at that night are all real. If you all saw the planchette moved itself into different places on the board simply because someone has joint us that night. We randomly summoned a spirit. Akala ko magiging ayos ang lahat. I saw as well the ghost who spoke with us using the ouija. Its a ghost of an unknown lady---" bigla kong pinutol ang pananalita ni Taylor. Hindi ko alam kung tama nga ba na pag usapan namin ang tungkol sa bagay na ito.

"Cut it off. Do you think that will really help us to resolve the weird issue of Juno?" Kunot noo kong sabi sa kanya.

"Demi, if you will just allow me to finish all of my statement, everything will be lighten up for you." Tugon niya sa akin.

"Then finish it. Let me absorb it on my mind Taylor." Seryoso kong sabi sa kanya.

"I know it may find difficult to understand most especially that you don't usually believe on my interest with afterlife and other odd entity topics. But believe it or not the lady that we randomly summoned on the ouija had just came upon with you that night, since the both of you and Juno left my house. The element or the ghost of this lady have an aura of bad energy. I can feel it that the ghost of this lady is trying to captivate the body of Juno."

"Captivate? What do you mean by that one?" Tanong ko sa kanya. Nag buntong hininga muna si Taylor bago sumagot sa akin.

"She is trying to possess the body of your cousin, Juno!" Sagot niya.

"You're creeping me out. Where did you got those information?" Nahihintakutan kong sabi kay Taylor.

"Because I know it. Because I have a gift." Mariin niyang tugon sa akin.

"Gift? Like the third eye thingy?"

"Yeah, you got it. And not just that. Way back last year me and my parents went to Manila to visit our other relatives. I met my two cousins. They are twins. Their names are Charles and Keith. Marami silang alam sa afterlife and the world of ghost. Mas marunong sila gumamit ng third eye. They thought me how to be aware of the things that are nonliving like ghost and mythical creatures or maligno. And I'm sorry if its getting too late to fix the issue with this lady who is trying to steal and possess the body of Juno. And one thing more. We forgot something when we played the ouija board."

"Ano iyon?"

"We never ended the game. We never attempt to say good bye. Remember the three rules in playing the ouija board? First don't play it alone. Second do not play it at the cemetery. The last one is do not forget to say good bye using the planchette. Kaso noong nag simula  nang magparamdam sa atin ang kaluluwa ay nag panic na si Juno agad at niyaya ka na niya umuwi ng bahay. It only means that once we never say good bye to the ghost, we also not help the ghost return back from dimension or portal it really came from. Sa madaling salita pinakawalan natin ang kaluluwang ligaw sa teritoryong kanyang talagang ginagalawan bago pa lamang tayo mag laro ng ouija board. At ngayon hindi na siya makabalik kung kaya ay ginugulo niya ang pinsan mo na si Juno." Salaysay sa akin ni Taylor. Sa mga sandaling ito hindi pa rin lubusan masipsip ng utak ko ang lahat ng mga nakakakilabot na kinukuwento sa akin ni Taylor. Kinikilabutan na rin ako. Paano na si Juno ngayon?

"But why Juno?" Tanong ko.

"Because ghost like to creep out people who are so weak. They can easily trespass to a human body of  someone who is not brave as coward like Juno." Paliwanag ni Taylor.

"Ano na ang mangyayari ngayon? Do we need to follow up the game we played just to end it?" Tanong ko kay Taylor. Hindi naman agad nakasagot si Taylor. Medyo nanahimik muna ito ng ilang segundo. Mukhang nag iisip ng tamang sasabihin o isasagot sa akin.

"To be honest I'm not sure on the next thing to do. Kahit ako takot din kung lalaruin natin muli ang ouija. Baka may iba pa tayong matawag na kaluluwang ligaw imbes maitaboy na natin ang kaluluwa ng babaeng gumagambala kay Juno. Pero sumasagi sa aking isipan ngayon sina Charles at Keith. Maybe they could help us." Nag aalangan  na tugon sa akin ni Taylor.

"Paano?"

"Tamang tama lang ang pagkakataon. Hindi sila nag enroll for second semester. Parating tambay lang ang dalawa sa bahay nila sa Sampaloc, Manila. I can ask them to have some vacation here at Tarlac."

"Pumayag naman kaya sila?"

"Ako na ang bahala roon." Sabi sa akin ni Taylor sabay inom ng kanyang kape.

Sa totoo lang medyo gulat pa rin ako sa mga nangyayari lalo na sa ikinuwento sa akin ni Taylor. Pero umaasa ako na makakatulong ang dalawa niyang kambal na pinsan maresolbahan ang kalagayan ni Juno. Dahil kung hindi naiisip kong baka mas lalo lumala ang lagay niya.

Kaso ang weird lang kung gusto sumanib ng kaluluwa bakit nais nito malagay sa bingit ng kamatayan din si Juno? Gusto lang ba manggambala ng kaluluwa na ito? Pakiwari ko rin ay puno ng galit ang kaluluwa ng babae na dumidikit kay Juno. Sino kaya siya? Isa siyang kaluluwang ligaw at bakit nandoon siya sa bahay ni Taylor kung saan namin siya natawag sa pamamagitan ng ouija board? May koneksyon kaya siya kay Taylor o sa pamilya nila?
