The day-after-thanksgiving-dinner will now commence!" Brendon announced, standing on top of the coffee table in their living room. Pete and Mikey cheered from their place on the floor where they were sitting criss-cross-applesauce. They had come along with Gerard and Frank, Spencer and Linda and Linda's friend Sarah, and Patrick. Dallon had made scrambled eggs and bacon, along with enough chicken nuggets to feed an army. Brendon had made five boxes of instant mac and cheese, and bought several kinds of chips and dip.
"A meal fit for a king." Pete said after he fixed a plate. He sat on the living room floor and cracked open a beer to drink, trying to balance all of his chicken nuggets on his plate without dropping any.
Spencer agreed, and Brendon laughed. Dallon sat on the couch and Brendon sat in front of him on the floor, leaning back between his legs.
Everyone joked around and ate their un-thanksgiving food, watching Ridiculousness on TV. When everyone was finished, Pete came up with the great idea that they should drive to Walmart and go Black Friday shopping.
"Pete, all the good stuff is gonna be gone. Everyone else already got all the cheap deals." Gerard said.
"Bet." Pete said. "We'll make it into a game. Me and Mikey on one team, Brendon and Dallon on another, Spencer and Linda, and Patrick and Sarah. We have an hour to meet back here, the person with the most things for the cheapest wins!"
Dallon rolled his eyes, but Brendon was totally into it. He was three beers in, after all. "Yes! Dude that'll be awesome!" He exclaimed.
"Bren, are you really willing to spend money on something so dumb?" Dallon asked.
"Come on Dal, you gotta know by now that Brendon's kinda loaded." Spencer joked.
"Am not." Brendon protested.
"Bren, you don't have a job, and you still buy whatever you want." Gerard chimed in.
Brendon only rolled his eyes. "Well, the answer to your question, Dallon, is yes, I do."
Dallon just shrugged. "Alright then." He said. "Let's do this."

Why did Pete have four walkie talkies in his car? Dallon didn't know. Why was he holding one to his ear, listening as Pete gave them directions? Because Brendon wanted him to, of course.
The were currently waiting beside Dallon's car, Brendon in a shopping cart, and Dallon holding the handlebar of it. They were waiting for Pete to give the signal.
There was one Walmart in May. And no other stores, besides grocery stores. So the four groups were spread out across the parking lot, all armed with a walkie talkie and a shopping cart.
"GO!" Pete suddenly yelled through the walkie talkie, and Dallon rushed to push the buggy holding his boyfriend inside of the store. They flew through the automatic doors, passing last-minute black Friday shoppers. "To the appliances!" Brendon shrieked, earning looks from people around them.
Dallon pushed the cart down the aisle labeled 'appliances'. This was only a Walmart though, so the biggest thing they could really purchase was a microwave. "Half off that microwave!" Brendon said, standing in the cart and grabbing for a black microwave. Dallon nodded, and Brendon sat the now twenty-three dollar microwave in the basket with him.
They moved on to electronics. Brendon snagged the last Playstation 3, for half off. He also got two 5 dollar games for it; Black Ops II, and Fallout. Dallon said, "We're buying this now, but you're getting it for Christmas." Brendon pouted but agreed.
They bought two green beanbags, a coffee maker, and two new phone chargers. They made their way to the checkout aisle, and hurried home afterwards.

Pete and Mikey were already back, but the other two groups were still gone when Brendon and Dallon got home.
"Count up your stuff to see how much you spent, whoever spent the least and got the best stuff wins." Pete said.
Dallon nodded, and he and Brendon began carrying all of their things inside. Once they got it all indoors, they started counting it up.
Throughout the time it took for them to count everything, the other teams had arrived. Once everyone was done, they shared their 'scores' as Pete called them.
Dallon and Brendon had spent a hundred and eighty seven dollars. They'd managed to grab a Playstation and games for it, a microwave, phone chargers, bean bags, and a coffee maker.
Pete and Mikey had spent two hundred and fifteen dollars, and gotten a coffee table and a pair of skullcandy headphones, as well as two new video games. ('Headphones > coffee maker', claimed Pete.)
Gerard and Frank spent a hundred and sixty-four dollars, and had grabbed a wall clock with David Bowie on it, two pink barstools, and a printer. ('For my mom. I don't know about you assholes, but we actually just did our Christmas shopping.' Said Frank.)
Patrick and Sarah spent two hundred and three dollars on a bike, a tent, and a small flatscreen.
Spencer and Linda spent a hundred and ninety four dollars on a mixer for baking, a coffee machine, CD's, and an end table. ('Yes Frank, you bitch, we didn't just spend two hundred dollars on random shit.' Spencer said.)
"I personally think Bren and Dallon won." Gerard said.
"HA! In your face, loser!" Brendon screamed at Pete. Dallon rolled his eyes and confiscated Brendon's beer.
"Shut up, fuckass." Pete mumbled. "You only won cause Dallon's smart. Big fuckin' math nerd."
Ouch. Dallon ignored it.
"Well at least he's not an actual dumbass like you, Wally-World." Brendon said, calling Pete the name they'd made up for him when he crashed his old car into the side of Walmart.
Spencer practically died laughing after that one, and even Pete had to crack a grin.

After everyone left, and after the house was semi-cleaned up, Dallon and Brendon went to bed. Dallon was tired and Brendon was drunk.
Brendon had three stages of drunk: batshit crazy, batshit crazy pt. 2, and tired.
The smaller man rested his head on Dallon's chest, while the older carded his fingers through Brendon's hair lazily.
