The next morning, Dallon wasn't surprised to see a police car parked across the road from his house when he woke up. Brendon was still asleep, and Dallon decided not to wake him up since he was so stressed out lately. Instead, he turned on the stove and made scrambled eggs and bacon, his specialty. He made two plates and sat them on the table; one for him and one for Brendon. It was almost eleven, which meant Brendon would probably be up soon. He wasn't about to wait though, and he was halfway done by the time Brendon walked out of the bedroom in nothing but a pair of sweatpants.
"Mornin', Dal." He yawned, rubbing his eyes and sitting at the table. "Thank you for making breakfast."
Dallon just smiled and shrugged, resting his head on his hand and watching Brendon. Brendon was used to it though, Dallon always stared at him. Something about 'you're the most beautiful person in the world, Brendon' or something cliche like that.
When they were done Brendon carried their dishes to the sink and Dallon went to the couch. Brendon followed a few seconds later, plopping down on the couch with his head in Dallon's lap and his feet propped on the arm. Dallon turned the TV on, letting reruns of The Office play softly while he played with Brendon's hair. The smaller boys eyes were shut, but Dallon could tell that he wasn't asleep.
"Are you okay, Bren?" Dallon asked. Brendon nodded, rolling over and pressing his face into Dallon's stomach. Dallon giggled a little and propped his feet on the coffee table, using his cell phone to take a picture of the two of them together.
"Stooppp." Brendon moaned, drawing the word out when he heard the shutter sound the camera makes. Dallon only laughed and tossed his phone down on the table. "What do you wanna do today?" He asked.
"Be lazy." Brendon mumbled.
Dallon rolled his eyes and laughed. "Come on, you don't wanna go to the park or anything?"
Brendon shook his head. "I'd rather stay safe."
Dallon sighed and smoothed his hand over Brendon's hair. "Okay baby, whatever you want." He said.
His thoughts drifted to the ring that was still hidden in his drawer. With all the shit that had been happening recently, he still hadn't thought of a good time to propose. He hated that Brendon couldn't just have a normal life. He tried his best to make sure things went well for them, but at this point there wasn't much he could do. Ryan was crazy, and it looked like it could only get worse. He could only hope it didn't.

"How the hell did they find the cameras?" Ryan exclaimed, making Jon flinch. "I thought I told you to hide them!"
Jon shrugged, taking a hit of the blunt that seemed like it was permanently connected to his hand. "I did hide them, but they found them."
Ryan sighed and covered his face with his hands, rubbing his eyes. "Great. Now they've probably gotten the police involved or something."
Jon shrugged again.
"Do you not understand how big of a deal this is for me?" Ryan almost yelled, standing up in front of Jon, who was slouched on the couch.
"Sure I do." Jon said. "I just think you're worked up for no reason. So they found the cameras. Wait for them to leave the house, then have the guys grab him up."
"You realize that the police are probably already looking for whoever put cameras in their house, right?" Ryan said.
Jon sighed. "It's not like they're gonna know it's us. There's no way to trace those cameras back to us. Trust me, I made sure."
Ryan sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Jon, do you realize how much trouble we could get in for this if we're not smart about it? This is kidnapping we're talking about." Ryan said.
Jon just sat there, a bored expression on his face. "I think you're forgetting that I'm the one who's done this before, Ry."
Ryan only shook his head and sighed. "How am I supposed to keep eyes on them if the cameras are gone?"
"Drive by their house." Jon said.
"How am I gonna know when they leave?" Ryan said.
"Just park down the road from their house and wait. They aren't gonna stay in there forever. When they leave, text me and I'll send the guys after them." Jon responded.
