On Thanksgiving day, Dallon drove to his parents' house with Brendon. There were more people than the last get-together, Brendon noticed.

Dallon's entire family was there; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and grandparents. Brendon was a little intimidated, but he didn't let it show as Dallon introduced him to the people he didn't already know.

Everyone seemed to be pretty accepting. Well, almost everyone. They got a weird look from Dallon's grandfather; his dad's dad. But Dallon had warned Brendon beforehand, so that was to be expected. So he didn't let it phase him.

When they ate, the immediate family sat around the dining room table, and everyone else sat around two tables that had been set up in the living room. There was also a kids' table, where younger children sat.

Brendon and Dallon sat at a table in the living room, with a few of Dallon's cousins that were around their age. There were three men plus their wives or girlfriends; Anthony, Mike and Drew, along with Ashley, Melanie and Carson. They were all nice people, it seemed like, and none of them had anything negative to say about Brendon and Dallon's relationship.

They all talked as they ate the turkey and infinite sides that Dallon's mother and father had prepared. Drew made it his mission to tell Brendon every embarrassing story about Dallon that he could think of. Luckily, before he could delve into the tale of 'the red food coloring', Dallon's mother announced that desert was available in the kitchen.

Dallon was too full for any sort of pie or cake, but Brendon sure wasn't. For someone so small, that boy sure could eat. He brought back a plate with two slices of cherry pie, a slice of cheesecake, and a slice of pecan pie. And he ate almost all of it.

Once everyone was finished eating, Dallon and Brendon helped clean up, along with Dallon's cousins. Most of the women sat in the living room talking, while men played corn hole outside. A tradition, apparently.

Luckily, Dallon did not have to undergo a makeover this time. Kaliegh and her sister were asleep by the time Dallon and Brendon got done cleaning up.

Brendon was tired as well, Dallon noticed. He was leaning against Dallon slightly. "Ready to go, baby?" Dallon murmured in his ear. Brendon nodded sleepily and Dallon smiled, and told everyone goodbye before he and Brendon left for home. Brendon slept in the car while Dallon sang to him softly.
