I sat on the nearby bench after I reminisced what happened. Up until now I'm still trying to figure out what is up with that girl. I mean, who kisses a stranger and then just runs away after? Man, that girl was nuts! But I have to admit I was kind of cliff-hung when she left just like that. I didn't even get to know her name.

I heard deep manly laughter coming from the court so I went there instead. There I saw my friends from the neighborhood lounging around.

"Yo, Kyle! Man, we've been waiting for you. Wanna play ball?" asked Greg.

"Maybe later."

"What's up with you?" asked Rodin.

"Nothin'. Just not in the mood."

"Oh, okay."

After listening to them blabber around, I decided to ask them, "Hey. You guys seen any girl with white hair around here?"

"Yeah. My grandma," said Greg jokingly. They all laughed and I just smiled.

"No, seriously. A pretty girl with white long hair? Seen any of that?"

I should probably add naked but decided against it. Man, if I say that they'd be looking for her, too. No thanks.

"Not recently. I mean, yeah, white hairs sure look cool but I ain't seeing anyone. Why?" The others just shook their head.

I decided to lie, "No reason. Just curious why no one around here does that."

"Well, just tell me if you have any fetish with white hairs, bro. You can hit on my grandma anytime. I won't mind." We all laughed at Greg's joke again.

We just stayed there and played some ball for a few hours then I decided to go home for dinner.

Just a few blocks from my home, I saw a white dog sat on Mr. Higgins' front lawn which made me stop. A white dog? Was it the one from last night? I mean, I never did see the dog again last night, but what if it just ran away?

Looking around and when I saw no one, I came near the dog. It doesn't look fierce or anything but I was careful. I mean, what if it was the dog last night? Man, that dog was angry for attacking me like that. That is, if there really was a dog last night.

The dog glanced at me when it noticed I was there. I stopped coming near when I saw it has blue eyes. No, it's not the dog from last night. The eyes of the dog I saw were gold. Besides, this dog is pretty small.

I continued walking home, still wondering what really happened. I'm beginning to think nothing really did happen. What if it was just my imagination? I mean, I have to admit my life's beginning to be a bit boring. I haven't got myself a girlfriend for a while now. Yeah, maybe it was all just my imagination.

But then... Where did my hoodie go?

The school bell rang, signalling the end of the first period. Students then flooded the hallway, in a rush to get to their next class. I saw my best friend Lila leant against my locker. She stood up straight when she saw me approaching her.

"Hey Kyle! Wanna go grab some bite before going to History? I heard Mr. Richards is running late," she said enthusiastically.

"Yeah, sure. I skipped breakfast anyway. I was running late myself," I said chuckling, remembering how I rushed everything after waking up so late. I blame it on the girl with sparkling gray eyes and long white hair for making me stay up all night.

We headed to the cafeteria and ordered some snacks then headed back to next class. We found everyone chatting around and Mr. Richards is still late.

Lila told me everything that happened to her for the weekend. She's working part-time on a small bistro so yeah, a lot of things happen to her. Like there was this one time that some guy flirted with her and tried to tap her ass but she smacked his head and flipped him off. Good thing nobody ever say anything to her boss because I'm pretty sure she'd get sacked for being so violent.

Lila and I grew up together. Our houses are pretty far from each other but I think we met on our kindergarten days, I'm not sure. Besides, our parents were friends since high school so we met a lot. We've been best friends since. We always hang out. She knows quite a lot about me and I her. She's cool.

We were just chatting when I noticed it's gone quiet. I looked ahead to check if Mr. Richards is already here only to find the whole class was looking at us. No, wait. Not us, but at the person beside me. And I'm not talking about Lila, the other person beside me. I never noticed someone took the seat.

My breathe hitched when I realized who it is. It's her. And she's staring back at me.
