Chapter 10

*Authors Note- So I'm starting this new thing that you guys might like. From now on the first person to vote on a chapter will have that chapter dedicated to them. Cool,right? Too keep it fair though you can't have more than one chapter dedicated to you in a row. For example if
you end up having this chapter dedicated to you then you can't have Chapter 11 dedicated to you. But you can have Chapter 12 dedicated to you. Any way this chapter is gonna be pretty long ( or at least longer than the others) because its gonna switch between the different point of views of all the team members! Hope you guys like it!

Connors POV (As usual)

"CONNOR!" Riv screamed,jumping up and down on Connor's bed excitedly.

"Riv I appreciate your excitement about getting to train like the rest of us, but can you chill out?" Connor asked as he pulled the covers to his bed over his head.

"Come on training starts in 30 minutes and I doubt you want to keep Peter, Captain America AND Batman waiting." Riv said as she jumped off the bed.

"Peter's the one who's supposed to be training me." Connor said as he sat up, interest flashing in his eyes.

"Not anymore. While you were asleep Batman called in and said He'd be teaching you and Jean how to lead with the help of Captain America." Riv explained as she flicked on Connors bedroom light, ignoring his groan of protest.

"Hurry and get ready." Riv called as she left Connors room.

Connor sighed as he walked into his bathroom and started getting undressed.

"I hope they take it easy on us." Connor muttered as he stepped into the shower.

30 minutes later.

The team was dressed in their supersuits as they waited in the danger room for their mentors to arrive.

"You'd think they would at least be on time." Dylan said.

"They're superheroes. What if they're saving someones life?" Maia said.

"They could at least call ahead of time." Riv said.

"Connor why aren't you using your symbiote?" Jean asked.

"I'll explain later." Connor said. 

The team turned toward the door as they their parents/mentors walked into the room.

After everyone's parents had greeted their children and reassembled in front of them Batman stepped forward.

"Today's training will consist of a series of matches. Each of you will fight your mentors so that they'll know what each of you must work on. The order will be Connor vs Peter, Dylan vs Clark ,Dawn vs Barry, Maia vs Tony, and saving the best for last Logan vs Bruce and Clark. Connor,you and Peter stay down here while the rest of us head into the control room." Batman said as he turned to the door.

"Go easy on me ok? It's been awhile since I used my powers." Peter said as he stretched.

"No way." Connor said as he got into a fighting stance.

"The battle will not end until your opponent is knocked out or is unable to get up for a total of 5 seconds. Ready.... begin." Batman said over the danger rooms intercom.

Connor and Peter sprang at each other. Locking hands as they tried to overpower each other. Connor shoved Peter backwards with all his strength. As Peter flew through the air he did a quick backflip landing on the opposite wall.
