Little Things Can Reveal Bigger Things

I wake up to find out Ryan isn't next to me in the bed. I sit up and slowly get out of the bed. I stumble some and almost fall flat on my face. I open the door and walk down the steps. Weird Ryan isn't down here either. Should I go out the door I ask myself. I go to the door and grab the doorknob. Except I feel like I'm being watched, I turn around and see nothing. Maybe this is a test, well I don't wanna fail it I think inside my head. I walk to the couch and sit down, there's no way I'm leaving. I just stare at the wall, wondering what to do. I feel arms wrap around me causing me to jump. Congrats baby you passed Ryan says hugging me from behind. Passed what I ask him as I pull out of his grip. Test number one, the other girls left, but you didn't. I thought you were scared of me he asks. I was gonna go out out the door, but not because I was scared. It's because I was gonna look for you I admit. He looked shocked, what I ask as he isn't saying anything. Why would you wanna look for me he asks.  Because I lo-, uh care about you I say blushing. Why'd you change your words he asks me. I didn't know if you wanted me to say that I tell him. Of course I would he says pulling me  off the couch and into a hug. Well then, I love you Ryan I say into his chest. I love you so much more he says into my hair. I never thought I would be in a situation like this. And by this I mean being in love with a creature I never thought existed I think to myself. I hate to ask this but are you gonna take over the world, like you know how they do on movies I ask him. He pulls out of the hug and looks at me strangely. I went to say sorry but then he bursts out laughing. Chloe we don't like to hurt humans. But we get upset easily so we sometimes do, but we would never take over the world he says still laughing. What are we gonna do, just sit in the house forever I ask more seriously. We can go swimming he offered. Let me guess in the bath tub I say rolling my eyes. Nope, there's a stream he said looking down at me. I don't have a bathing suit I told him. Who said we had to wear clothes he asks playing with the bottom of my shirt. Ha you wish I say pushing his hands away. Indeed I do he says with a smile. Gross, but what am I supposed to swim in I ask him. I have a swimsuit for you, I'll go get it he said going up the steps. A minute later he came down with a bikini. It's the same one as when I was at the beach in the dream. So certain things do happen from the dreams I ask as he walked up to me. Yeah, here he said handing me the swim suit. I'll be back I say going into the bathroom. I hope its not deep I think as I put the swim suit on. Ugh, I hate bikinis, they show off your body to much I say looking at the mirror. I put my clothes back on over top of it and walk out. I just keep thinking over and over again, do I really wanna stay with Ryan for the rest of my life. Living in fear that I'm gonna be killed by his dad. And I guess I don't get to go to school either. And is anyone looking for me, and did Veronica tell anybody. If she did will they find me, do I want to leave Ryan. I must've zoned out because Ryan was waving his hand in my face. Are you ready to leave he asks me. Yeah sure I tell him, but I wasn't ready. I hate going into deep water, I'm afraid I won't come up in time and I'll drown. He grabs my hand and we walk out the door. Would you rather walk six miles or kiss and get there in ten seconds he asks looking at me. Walk six miles I say sarcastically. He rolled his eyes and pulles me into a kiss. I close my eyes and then reopen them. I pull away and look around, we are at a beautiful stream. It is surrounded by woods, a small amount of sun shown on the stream making it sparkle. You like it Ryan asks putting his hands on my shoulders. Its pretty I say smiling, well then, let's swim he says. Don't let me drown this time I say walking towards the water. Believe me that will never happen again he says walking behind me. He takes off his shirt and shoes. I take of my clothes causing him to stare at me. Hey stop I yell covering myself with my shirt. He laughs, why are you hiding he asks walking up to me. I shrugged, well let's swim he says again pulling me towards the edge of the water. I'm scared I admit, I'll get in first then you he tells me. I sigh, he then jumps in and resurfaces. Is it deep I ask him, yeah, taller then you he says making my stomach drop. Come on, jump in and I'll catch you he says holding out his arms. I close my eyes and jump in. He caught me but the water was freezing. I gasp from the coldness and he laughs. You're not cold I ask holding a death grip on him. Nope, he says and backs off of the edge. I hold him tighter as he starts swimming. I notice the water isn't as deep as it was before. I'm gonna teach you how to swim he says standing me up in the water. I held onto his arms tightly. Given the chance to learn I was pretty good at it. Four hours later we were swimming down the stream. See there is nothing to be afraid of he says to me. I'm tired can we go back now I ask him. He nods and swims up to me, do you wanna get our clothes or no he asks me. We can get them later I say jumping up onto him. He holds me up and then kisses me. I open my eyes and see we are in the house. I don't pull away though, I don't want to stop. And he doesn't want to either. He slowly walks up into the bedroom and lays down on the bed continuing to kiss me. Things went farther on from that point making me glad I fell in love with him. After a while we fell asleep cuddling next to each other. And by now I knew I loved him and never wanted to lose him.
