A Strange Little Visit

Uh, I um, I said trying to procrastinate. Thankfully the doctor came in when she was getting ready to ask me again. We need to put a new iv in he told us. Great, more needles I thought to myself. He went into a drawer and pulled it out. I closed my eyes and waited for it to be over. Thankfully it did but now my mom is asking about who the dad is again. Ryan's I mumble, she looks at me shocked. The one who kidnapped you she asked. Yes, and he didn't kidnap me, I ran away I told her. Why does everyone think that. I mean I went to him, and he said I couldn't leave. So how can that be kidnapping I ask myself. Oh Chloe she said with an emotion that I can't explain. Do you want keep it or uh, well you know e- yes I wanna keep it I said cutting her off. Ok she said and then it was just an awkward silence. When can I leave I ask breaking the silence. In a week she said making my mouth drop. I can't stay here for a week I yelled. Sorry Chloe but you have to she told me. I groaned and laid my head back, great I mumbled. A week later... Thankfully a week went by fast but my mom and I really bonded. I'm in her car and she is dropping me off to my house. Thanks I said when we finally got there. Are you sure you don't wanna stay at my house she asked for the millionth time. Yes I'm sure I told her and got out the car. I waved by and walked up into my apartment. I laid on my bed and closed my eyes. Time skip to her birthday, a week before she is supposed to leave....... I wake up and do my normal routine of throwing up. Today's my seventeenth birthday, but that's not what I care about. It's only a week until I go back to Ryan. But I'm not sure if I actually want to. My mom and I have become so close. And I actually have a lot friends at school. My mom wants me to come over to her house at one and its twelve. I finish getting ready at twelve forty five. Her house is a little drive from mine so I'm just gonna leave now. I arrive at her house and see the lights are out. I knock and no one answers, I turn the door knob and open the door. All the lights go on and people come into sight yelling surprise. I jump out of reflex and they laugh. What is this I ask, my mom walks over and hugs me. Happy birthday Chloe everyone says to me. Thanks I say and Veronica walks up next to me. My mom walks away and Veronica leads me into the bathroom. Happy birthday she says handing me a wrapped box. Oh you didn't have to I say opening it. It was a necklace, I love it I say hugging her. Good she said and we walked into the living room. There is at least twenty people here. It is a little over whelming but I guess I'll be fine. The party thankfully only lasted an hour. Veronica was the last one to leave. The party had cleared my mind of Ryan but now he's all I can think about. Are you alright Chloe my mom asked as I sat down. Yeah I lied, honestly I feel dizzy and have a lot of stress on my mind. Would you mind if I stayed a few hours here I asked her. Of course you can she said happily. I smiled and she led me to the guest room. Well have a nice nap she said shutting the door. The dizziness became worse so I shut my eyes. I fell asleep but woke up a second later. I knew I was asleep, but the question is why. Happy birthday I heard Ryan say. I didn't see him though, and why is he here. Ryan, are you there I asked sitting up. I don't know am I he asked. Yup I said and he then suddenly appeared. Happy birthday he said again sitting on the bed. Why are you here I ask him, you don't want me here he asked sounding hurt. No, you just said you wouldn't be back I told him. Well I couldn't miss your birthday he said with a smile. So you don't talk to me for a month, and now all of a sudden your back I asked annoyed. You don't seem to excited he said in a smart ass way. Ugh you are so annoying I yell, he just smiles making me more angry. Stress isn't good when you're pregnant he says. No shit sherlock I grumble. Someone needs a hug he said holding out his arms. I was angry but my emotions flipped and now I was sad. I sat in his lap and wrapped my arms around his neck. Why did you leave me that long I ask in tears. I'm sorry, but you'll see me in a week ok he asked. Yeah, but that's so far I said causing him to laugh. I love you he said rubbing my back. I love you to I said back. Chlo, he asked, yeah I ask. You are coming back, right he asked me. Yeah of course, why I ask him, nothing, he replied. Well I gotta go he said pulling me off his lap. When will I see you again I ask him. If you come back to the grocery store, that's when he told me. What do you mean if I ask him. Happy birthday Chloe he says and then kisses me. I wake up alone in the room. I sigh, now I gotta decide if I really wanna go live with Ryan again.
So if you haven't noticed I was at first writing in past tense and then on present. But I don't feel like editing this so.......😂
