"WE SHOULD tell someone she's missing," Marley proposed. "She could be in danger."

She twirled a twig between her fingers, bending and picking at the frayed brown bark at the end of the stick. She and Elijah had made it back to camp a few hours before and there was still no sign of Octavia. Marley's chest was beginning to grow tight with worry - after all that had happened since they crashlanded, what with Jasper and the grounders, the acid fog and Charlotte, she assumed the worst.

The pair had moved inside the dropship, away from the loud hum of camp which her head. Her mind was already rife with fearful thoughts and the volume of the teenagers outside made the thoughts run wildly, pounding against her skull. 'What if she's dead?' 'What if she's injured?'', they would question. The dropship's interior seemed to act as a make-shift shield from the outside world. The only sound emanating from its metal confines (aside from Elijah's soft idle humming and the words exchanged between the two) was clanking coming from outside.

"She'll be fine. Like I said, she's probably just clearing her head." Elijah smiled.

At Marley's sceptical expression, his smile dropped. Elijah leant his head back against the smooth metal wall and let out a deep sigh. "You're right." He conceded.

Standing up, he extended a hand to pull Marley to her feet. As he made to leave, a commotion sounded from outside the entryway. It wasn't the kind of noise the delinquents seemed to make for a fight, something which seemed to happen daily - but that was to be expected when you stuck a shipload of criminals on Earth with nothing to do.

No, this commotion was one of confusion, with the stir of excitement lingering in the air. A curious buzz seemed to float through the crowd; Marley and Elijah stuck their heads out from behind the loosely hanging red cloth covering the dropship's entrance with intrigue. She's assumed it was something to do with the ship they'd seen fall and its contents.

Daylight was fading, the sun setting behind the trees and the only illumination came from the smouldering fire at the edge of camp. Through the dimming light, Marley caught sight of a pack of around five striding their way back into camp, triumphant and optimistic looks on most of their faces. Bellamy was there, at the back, his arms folded. His expression was different to the rest of the group: it was unamused and set into a stony stare, his eyebrows furrowed in a slight anger which he was obviously trying to conceal. In front of him walked everyone else - Mbege and his friends, led by Clarke and Finn, alongside a girl Marley had never seen before.

Of course, it was her that had drawn the crowd's interest. It was obvious she'd come from the ship that had fallen — since no one seemed to know who exactly this girl was — and she'd somehow survived the hurtling landing that had surely seen her crashing towards the forest floor. She had a graze and streaks of dried blood across her forehead; she looked a little groggy but, surprisingly, she seemed mostly unharmed. Her dark hair was pulled back into a ponytail.
