I left New York City. I knew I needed time to find the best way to get home.

I asked Matt if he wanted to come.

"So I can go back to the life of an Asgardian? Why the hell would I do that?" He crossed his arm.

"Because it's been a damn long time since we've been home," I became angry.

"Well you can go home I'm staying here," he then closed his door.

I let a breath of air and walked away.

I left Matt and everyone I knew behind. I resigned. I told everyone that the whole New York thing was too much. I gave most of my stuff away. I only took my sword my outfit and some human clothes and some money.

I got on the first bus to Chicago. I hoped to find some peace there.

That was 6 months ago. I didn't do anything in Chicago. I only had a dream about London.

It told me to go to London. It warned me of death and despair but it showed me a path home.

I flew to London. I suddenly felt weak as I got nearer to a random building. It seemed to be an old rail yard. I saw cops and other people.

Then I saw Thor.

I flew down and heard Thor say.

"Heimdall," Thor was then gone with a tunnel type thing.

"Fascinating," I whispered. I looked at the people.

"Hey I know you," a familiar voice came out. I turned and saw a young women. She had a familiar face but I didn't have time.

"Heimdall, please bring me home," I spoke up to the sky. I felt a rushing sensation. I held my sword up as I felt myself move upwards.

It was a breathtaking view as I zoomed upward. I suddenly stopped and found myself in....

Oh my god..

I was home.

I laughed and knelt on the ground. Tears poured out of my eyes.

Home.

I stood up and saw Heimdall his mouth ajar.

"My lady," he bowed. I ran up and hugged him.

"Oh how I have missed you," I smiled.

"Go to the palace I think Odin would like to see this," Heimdall looked happy.

I smiled and nodded. I flew to the palace. I saw people I knew. One woman caught my eye.

"Sif!" I yelled and rushed up to her. She turned and saw me. I hugged her tightly.

"How, what?" She held my face in her hands.

"I saw Thor and followed him," I grabbed her hands. Sif had been my best friend.

"Come Odin will want to know," she grabbed my hand and pulled me to the throne room. Asgard hadn't changed much. I watched as the rooms still glittered.

I felt us stop as I looked to the throne. Odin had been talking to Thor and Jane. He stopped in mid sentence and stared at me.

"Verdandi," he whispered. Everyone turned their eyes on me. Thor pushed through the crowd.

"My friend it has been so long," he gave me a bear hug.

"Actually I saw you in New York," I spoke as I caught my breath.

"How did you survive," Odin's voice boomed.

I explained my life story until London. Everyone seem totally absorbed by it. I finished and looked around. I saw Frigga and I walked to her. I hugged her.

"Oh my young one," she whispered into my hair. I started crying again. She ushered me to a room.

My old room. It was still blue with a huge bed. No one had come in. Or so it seemed.

"Frigga, I want to see him," I cried as I sat on my bed.

"I know, are you sure though he has changed so much," She held my hand. I wiped my tears away and nodded.

"Follow me to the dungeons," We got up and went through a maze of hallways. We walked down some steps.

"He is in there," She pointed. She started walking away.

"Won't you join me?" I asked. She smiled and shook her head. I watched as she left. I walked down the rest of the steps.

There he was. He was reading a book in a chair his back to me.

I walked up to the cell.

"What do you want," he turned to me. He stopped.

He stood up. My heart thudded against my chest.

"Loki," I breathed out. My heart was so loud.

"How are you even," He started, he stopped and sat down staring at me.

I got even closer and sat on the ground right next to the cell wall.

He sat down next to me. I held my hand against the wall ignoring the pain. He held his hand up.

"Verdandi, oh I have missed you," I saw tears in his eyes. I felt tears streaming down my face.

"Loki, what have you done," I cried.

We just sat there for awhile. Neither of us said a word. I stared into those beautiful green eyes and felt my soul melt.

He was still Loki.

And I still loved him.

Dammit anyway.....
