It was that day that the Dark Elves came.
I fought them along with everyone else. I realized how rusty my swordsmanship. I needed practice. I heard the prison was broken out of. I hoped that Loki had gotten out.
Why would I even think that?
I'm so glad he didn't.
Then it was over. I looked at the guards bodies on the floor.
So many deaths.
Including Frigga.
Instead of attending the funerals I went to the training room.
I hit the targets as hard as possible. My anger consumed me. I hit every target every time.
Hours went by as I stayed in there. I hated the world. Why didn't I think? How could I just go and fight and not care?
What the hell was I thinking? I must not have been. I abused a target again and again until I sat down and I sobbed.
"Verdandi?" Sif called out. I got up and turned towards her. She seemed just as weary as I was.
"Do you want revenge or not?" She stepped out of the room. She started walking away.
"Do you?" She looked over her shoulder. I shook my head and began hitting the target. I heard her sigh and walk away.
With each hit I realized I did.
"Sif wait up," I called out. We walked as she told me the plan.
"Hang on you are going to let Loki out?" My heart fluttered. Sif let out a noise of disgust.
"Yes," She rolled her eyes. I was giddy with love a huge smile went across my face.
"I'm in," I said before she even said the rest of the plan.
"Verdandi he has changed he isn't the one you knew before," Sif whispered. I looked up to the sky and felt a twinge of sadness. I missed this place so much I realized how much really had changed.
"When I....left, how was he?" I stopped just before the palace doors.
"Almost dead, then he learned to hide his grief," Sif spoke as she looked towards the sky with me.
"When do I meet you," I changed the subject.
"Tomorrow morning meet Heimdall at the Bifrost ." And with that Sif walked away.
I stood at the door alone. I finally opened it and went to my room. It was still dark out I figures I could rest.
I sat on my bed. I didn't want a memory but I just kinda came.

"Loki stop it," I smiled as we hit each other with swords.
"Oh please your fine," he chuckled as he hit my armor. I ducked and flipped him over to the ground the blade at his throat. I was on top of him.
"Got you down again," I smiled.
"Did you?" I felt a cool blade on my side.
"Damn," I whispered. I got up. The form beneath me flickered and vanished. He stood next to me with a dagger.
"You are getting better," I put my sword in my sheath.
"So are you," He put his dagger away. I monitored him outside. We walked to the overlook to the ocean.
"You might be able to beat me if I actually fought you," I leaned against the stone.
"I doubt it, you are even better than my father," He punched me playfully in the shoulder.
"I think that's a bad thing, I mean your father should be the strongest and the best so I shall be second," I joked. Loki stared at the sky.
"When Thor becomes king what will happen?" I looked at the sky with him.
"I will become second in line I suppose," he whispered.
"What will you do?" I looked to him.
"First I'm going to marry you and then we can have children and maybe take the throne," he smiled and looked at me.
"I could tell there was a joke which part of it was that?" I smiled.
"The part where we get married and have kids," He said in a serious tone.
"Oh?" I smiled.
"Yes, because we will probably get married before then," Loki smiled.
I leaned over and kissed him. I could never be happier.

I felt my heart thud against me chest. That was only a short time before I fell. I laid on my bed and stared at my ceiling.
I wish I could go back. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
