~Destiny

I woke up to the sunlight hitting my face. It was warm and blinding. I stared out the window. I finally got out of bed and into my clothing.

I grabbed my sword and some water in a bottle that I took from earth.

I made my way to the throne room and waited for Sif. She came swiftly and told me to run to the Bifrost. I did and saw Heimdall waiting for me.

"When?" I asked.

"Now," he walked up the steps to his sword. I walked towards the entrance.

"Have you ever been there?" I turned to look at him.

"No, but be careful," he was turning the dial for the worlds. I was quiet but then a thought came through my mind.

"How come you couldn't see me down there?" I gestured to earth.

"Who said I couldn't?" His eyes filled with sorrow. He opened it and bam I watched the beautiful colors swirl around me.

I landed and saw the cold desert around me. Sand and rocks littered the cold brown ground. There was no light it was more of a glow around the place. Black clouds loomed over me head.

The dark world is what they called it. I walked forward and kicked at the dusty ground.

I always got picked for these things. I went up to a ridge and looked around me.

Just the same boring landscape. Dusty sand and rocks. I sat on the ridge.

I wondered how Thor and Jane and Loki were doing. Did they make it out? Were they almost here?

It didn't take long until I saw a huge ship come from outta no where. It was long and obsidian like. I threw myself from behind a rock and grabbed my sword.

Should I fight?

No.

That's when I saw Thor and Loki behind me. I crawled until I was far from the ridge. I got up and brushed myself off.

"They are just over that ridge," I said as I approached. I notice how sickly Jane looked. Not a good sign.

Loki had his hands cuffed. I looked at him. His mind seemed else where and didn't take much notice of me.

"Good lets do this," Thor walked forward with Jane. Loki was slightly in front of him. I stayed to the back of them.

We stared off of the ridge at the ship. I turned back and saw something. I began to walk towards it.

Then I heard Jane scream. I turned back sharply and saw her running down the hill. Loki and Thor were already at the bottom. I sprinted and saw Thors hand and hammer on the ground and Loki kicked Thor. Loki grabbed Jane and threw her to the elves. Malekith began to extract a red sand from Jane's body.

"No!" I screamed and I threw myself and some of the elves. I stabbed one in the eye and cut the head off of another.

Thor got up and grabbed his hammer and hit the sand. It was all an illusion. Kudos to Loki. The fighting broke out. I fought harder than ever.

Malekith had the sand and was walking towards the ship. I watched Thor go after him but a huge creature stood in his way.

Holes in space were being made as the elves tried to kill us. They ended up in them themselves. Until one went right by Jane. I flew towards her but Loki pushed her away and was getting sucked up in it.

I felt my heart stop. I wasn't going to make it in time.

Thor flew threw the air and caught him. I grabbed Jane and I flew her away so if we needed her she was close but far enough away that if it broke out even worse she was safe.

The huge creature kept beating up Thor as me and Loki finished off the last of the elves. I noticed one more and hunted it down. I stabbed it and heard something I will never forget.

"Noo!" I heard Thor roar. I turned as I took my sword out. Loki had a huge hole in his chest as he pulled away from the monster who had a huge piece in his chest as well.

"See you in hell monster," Loki spoke and the creature threw him to the ground.

I fell to my knees. No. No. No. I felt tears fill my eyes and fall to the ground. I closed my eyes pretending I couldn't see. I opened them. The creature was gone and Thor was by Loki. I flew towards them and watched as Loki's skin turned bluish. He was sputtering out words. I knelt on the ground beside him. He looked at me.

My heart beat so fast and it hurt with pain. Those green eyes stared back at me.

I held his hand in mine until he died. Thor finally got up and walked to Jane. I just knelt there I couldn't tear my eyes away.

My tears fell less often but they were bigger.

He was unwanted and uncared for. He was so dark and horrible. Yet I would suffer endless torture for him.

I still would. I got up and kissed his forehead. I walked to Thor and Jane.

"I'm going home," I stated.

"We need you now more than ever," Jane looked at me. I shook my head and smiled sadly.

"I...can't face this war...I" I felt my throat heave and more tears came to my eyes.

"I understand how will you get there though?" Thor said. I shrugged.

"The way I came I suppose Heimdall might be listen, if not I know another way now," I looked to the ship that brought Jane and Thor and.....

"May you come out on top," I hugged them both and watched as they walked away. I walked to the ridge. I didn't dare look down.

"Heimdall are you listening?" I yelled up. Nothing happened.

Damn, Odin took treason seriously.

I walked to the little ship and got on. I flew towards the little place me and Loki found as kids. A little portal. I found it after a day of searching and flew the ship into it.

Seconds later I was back in Asgard. I watched the water below me. It looked so unhappy.

Good that's the way it should be.

Loki would become dust.
