I was heart broken. But I wouldn't show George or Dimitri how betrayed I felt. So I stood my ground while facing the boy and his father whom I thought I could trust.
But I guess that I learned my lesson.

Jake.
"Why can't we all be friends and get along people?"
I turned around as Jake came by to stand by me along with Glenda, Corey, Jamie, and my mom. Jake stood on on side while my mom stood on the other side. Glenda stood by my mom while Corey and Jamie stood behind me.
I was dumbfounded for the fact that Jake would show up and stand by me to fight like this but I let it drop because I knew that I didn't have time to be dumbfounded by the fact that my best friend is here to help me.
I turned back to look at Geroge and Dimitri and they both seamed more shock than me. It was silent for a minute but then I said "We don't have to fight like this. We can become allies and fight the Dark Queen together. Or we can fight and you guys can lose. You pick."
Dimirti spoke up then "Why do that when we'll live and you and your little possie will die?"
I looked him straight in the eyes and said "No, it's the other way around, we'll live and if you guys chose to stay on the Dark Queen's side, then you'll die."
George spoke up then and said "If you think that, then you're dummer than you look."
I glared at him but said nothing because my mother spoke up.
"You two don't understand. You'll die reguardless if you're on her side or not. It doesn't matter because someone here will die, and it will be a death that none of us forget."
Glenda spoke after her.
"She's right, someone will die."
Jamie, Corey, and Jake turned to look at my mother and Glenda as they said that. But I continued to keep eye contact with Dimitri and I said "It's not to late to change sides. You can still chose good over evil."
He stared at me and nodded. George however looked from my group to me and said "You actually believe that? You really think that it's not to late?"
I looked and him and said "Yes, I do believe that."
It was silent for a minute bu was broken when Dimitri said "I'm sorry Sarah. You may be right but I don't want to stick around to find out. I won't fight you, but I don't want to be around you ever again."
I was hurt at his words but I didn't let him see how hurt I was. So I nodded and turned to George.
"Why don't you go away and leave us be?"
He glared at me then turned and walked away. Dimitri stood there looking at me and his lips moved and I knew what he was saying.
'I'm sorry.'
I nodded and then I turned to Glenda and my mom.
"We need to come up with a plan now. I'm going to have to fight the Dark Queen soon, so I'll need a plan and soon."
They nodded and started back into the woods.
I turned to Jake, Jamie, and Corey and and said "We need a plan, so lets go back to the cabin and think."
