Chapter 26
I woke up to feeling something soft and warm stroking my face and I opened my eyes to see Jake staring at me with a smile on his face.
"Good morning sleeping beauty."
I play slapped him and sat up with a smile on my face.
"Good morning prince charming."
He chuckled and sat up.
"Well that wasn't nice, I can't believe you slapped me. You hurt my feelings."
I laughed and said "Oh poor baby you'll live."
He reached for me and started tickling me. I laughed so hard it hurt. While he tickled me he kept asking
"You gonna say you're sorry?"
For a while I shook my head no and he continued to tickle me. I ended up giving up because it hurt to laugh that much so I finally said "Alright I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Please stop I can't laugh anymore it hurts too much."
He chuckled and stopped then he pulled me close and huged me. I of corse hugged him back and we stayed silent for a while.
We stayed silent for a long time then I felt Jake's fingers under my chin as he lifted my face to look at him. I thought that he was gonna kiss me again, but his question ended up catching me off guard as he asked "What dead body did you see last night in your nightmare?"
I looked at him and said "I honestly didn't pay attention, I was to busy getting killed by the dark queen."
He flinched back at that and dropped his hand from my face. I felt a pang of hurt but I let that go as I decided to reach for Jake.
When I did he got up and walked out the door. I called after him but he didn't turn to look at me. I wanted to go after him but another voice stopped me.
"You should leave him alone for a bit, he likes to have some time to himself sometimes."
I turned to see Corey leaning against the wall watching me.
I sighed and said "Ok well I don't have any intention of listening to you, so if you'll excuse me"
I started to walk away but his voice stopped me
"Sarah wait"
I turned to looke at him but he was closer that I expected him to be. He reached for my hand and pulled me closer until our faces were inches apart.
I felt his lips at my ear as he began to whisper to me.
"I know I havn't talked to you in a couple days, but I don't like Jake at all he doesn't seem right to me. That's why I havn't been talking to you, cuz you've always been with him."
I was frozen from what he said.
I couldn't move but I felt his lips trace my jaw line until he reached the corner of my mouth. He stopped as to give me time to pull back, but I couldn't. I was in too much shock to do anything.
I felt his lips press against mine and I knew he wanted entrance, but I wouldn't give it to him.
Instead I pulled back and punched him in the face. He flew back and hit the wall pretty hard.
"OW, YOU BITCH! WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR SARAH?"
I backed away and ran out the door. I didn't realize that Corey was already up and he was following me. I ran into the woods and he was steps behind me.
I pushed myself to run harder and faster only to find that Corey wasn't behind me anymore. I slowed down and looked behind me.
I didn't see him behind me, so when I turned around, there was a huge grey and while werewolf in front of me. It was the same one from the meadow just days before.
I slowly backed up and it mimicked my steps by stepping towards me. I decided to stop and stand my ground to wait and see what he would do.
He stood still looking at me then he leaped for me.
That's when my plan went into action. I ran towars him as he leaped for me. I ducked under him and continued to go straight.
I ran as hard and as fast as I could, but I knew that Corey was behind me.
It seamed like a long time but I finally made it into the meadow. I stopped only seconds to see if I could see Jake.
I searched and I finally found him. I couldn't run anymore so I walked until I was in hearing distance.
"JAKE I NEED YOU NOW!"
He turned and I saw his eyes go big as he looked at me. I looked behind me and saw Corey a couple feet behind me.
I started to run but there was a flash behind me and when I turned around to see Corey in his human form and he was pissed.
"What the hell Sarah why'd you decide to punch me into the wall?"
Jake jogged up to us then and glared at Corey.
I looked at him and said "Oh I don't know maybe because you kissed me."
"You wanted me to."
I opend my mouth to arugh but Jake's voice stopped me as he asked
"What the hell is going on Sarah?"
I turned to answer him but something didn't seam right and I said "You two get back to the cabin now."
Jake looked at me and said "What why? I want you to answer my question and I won't leave until you answer me."
I glared at him and said "Something's wrong and I want you two to get back to the cabin right now."
He sighed and walked away with Corey behind him.
I watched them go and a single tear fell from my cheek.
I sighed and turned around only to come face to face with Dimitri and...
George.
Hey guys here's chapter 26. I'll try to have chapter 27 up tomorrow. I felt like posting a chapter tonight but i'll try to post another chapter tomorrow. I love all my fans and I thank all of you for your support.
