There Mr. Washington was, bending over his dark wooden deck, hands placed roughly at the edges. He has a pair of reading glasses over his eyes, which were closed tightly, therefore he hadn't noticed the French boy staring at him in the door opening.

He then took one of his hands and ran it slowly over his face, growling lowly, almost to where Lafayette could not hear. Yet, he heard the growl quite well, heat pooling in his lower region, as he continued staring at the beautiful man before him.

He let out a small moan, but covered it with him clearing his throat. "Mr. Washington are you ok?" Lafayette asked quietly.

George Washington looked up to the recognizable voice from the door. A strange look in his deep eyes, yet it disappeared as soon as it came.

"Um yes... I'm quite well, Lafayette, I think you should knock before entering, don't you?" He said in a low voice, straightening up to take in the sight of the disheveled boy.

"Y..Yes sir, I apologize... I'll leave now," Gilbert said. Before Washington had the chance to beg him to stay, he was gone.
