AN//// FINALLY AN UPDATE!!! I was thinking about this while cooking, so I hope you all enjoy.
Lafayette POV
I opened the door with a smile, but it fell from my face as my eyes met the one and only Thomas Jefferson.
He had bullied me since middle school, yet here he stood upon my doorstep, looking disheveled. "Are you going to just stand and stare, or will you let me in?" he asked in a deep voice.
I stood aside, still in a shocked state as to why he was here. It was 5:45, so I still had enough time for George to be here. "Um... Why are you here Thomas?" I asked, uncomfortably standing as he went to take a seat on the couch in my cozy living room.
Only being in high school, you'd think I'd have someone to live with me. But, that's a story for later.
"I came to see how my little buddy is doing," he said smirking at me. The vivid memory of him bullying me in the hall flashed through my brain, but I quickly diminished it.
"You're no friend of mine. Why are you really here," I said, little confidence making its way to my voice. "That's no way to speak to a guest, now is it? Especially to someone who can ruin you. I know about your dirty little secret," he said in a cold voice, sarcasm lacing it.
I stood, once more stunned at him. "I... I don't know what you mean. You forget yourself, Thomas. I think it's time to go," I said, shaking at the glare he threw my way.
"Don't play dumb, Gil. I know every single thing going on between you and "George". I've seen the looks, plus I happened to get some information about it. Now I know you may think I'm an asshole, but I think you should know something that I know," he said, suddenly standing.
I took a step back. "What could you possibly know?" He rubbed the small bit of stubble upon his face.
"I know that George isn't all you think he is."
