To be honest I've named the last three chapters this but it never happens.
AH! I missed it! I'm sorry, I was writing my other story, so it's not like I'm doing nothing!
Plus the other one's way more interesting. What? Who said that?
Don't believe me? Read 'em both! Win Win!
JK. I love both stories equally.
But read the other one, too.
Enjoy!!!
ASTRID'S POV
Echo was almost done, just finishing cleaning up Hiccup's chest as night was fast approaching.
He had only woken up once, screaming loudly as Astrid tried to calm him down.
He'd had 3 broken ribs but thankfully none of them punctured his lung, otherwise, he'd be dead by now.
Echo stood, walking to a bucket of fresh water and cleaning her hands of the blood that they were covered in.
"Now that that's over with, who wants to take a tour?" Echo asked. "I can show you all the coolest stuff in this cave without getting lost." They all agreed, but I told them I'd stay behind.
I sat down next to Hiccup and sighed.
HICCUP'S POV
I only remember waking up once to an unmeasurable pain, Astrid frantically trying to calm me down. I couldn't breathe. It was too painful.
I slept for a long time, waking up to find Astrid sitting next to me.
Seeing me stir, Astrid scrambled to help me sit up, though I could see she didn't want me to.
I winced, but the pain in my chest had greatly lessened. "What happened?"
"You broke a couple ribs when you took a flaming boulder to the chest, leaving us stranded on an island with a possible psychopath." She summed up perfectly.
"I wanna get up." He said.
"You are up." She stated, ignoring the meaning of my words.
"Astrid, I'm going to stand up, and you can help me if you want to."
She sighed and gently helped me up to a standing position.
"I want to explore."
"We could get lost, Hiccup."
"With Toothless, we'll never get lost." I said, petting the dragon affectionately.
"Alright, fine." She muttered, and they headed into the depths of the cave.
TUFFNUT'S POV (I'm making up for lacking, don't judge me.)
I wandered down the cave as Echo speed walked down it.
"Where are we going so fast?" I whined.
"My quarters." She said simply.
"That's not very specific." I said accusingly.
"Tuff, behave. Echo has been very helpful, and we don't need you ruining things." Heather said.
"I'm just saying, technically isn't this entire cave her quarters. I mean, what else could there possibly be?"
"Tuff, leave it alone." She rolled her eyes.
"I never leave things alone! I'm Tuffnut Thorston! Thorstons never quit! Right, Ruff?" I asked.
She grumbled something inaudible before turning back to her conversation with Echo.
"Wow. Who yacked in her mutton?" I muttered.
"I think you did, Tuff. Metaphorically, anyway." She explained, glancing at the female twin.
"I don't do metaphors. She'll get over it." Heather frowned at me.
I smiled at her and bumped her with my shoulder.
"I'm kidding, I'm kidding. I'll talk to her when she cools off a little. OOO look over there!" I exclaimed, running off into the cave.
"Tuff wait!" She called, running after me.
"Look at this!" He exclaimed, staring at the cave wall.
"I know, rock! Fascinating." She snarked, turning and walking away.
"Wait, Heather!" He called.
"What?" She asked.
"Look closer."
She walked up and stared at the wall of the cave.
"Is that?"
"A dragon. Like nothing I've ever seen. Looks like a Striker-Class. Strong jaw, tough dragon. Nothing like I've ever heard of." He mused.
"Tuff? You okay?" She questioned curiously.
"I studied a little dragon back on The Edge with Hiccup." He explained, not taking his eyes off of the dragon bones sticking out of the wall.
"We should probably get back to the others, Tuff." They started to walk.
"That would be great except for one small thing." He mumbled.
"What?"
"We're lost."
"Great."
A figure blurred past them.
"What was that?" Heather asked.
A figure stepped out.
"Oh, hey, Echo."
She said nothing.
"Echo?"
"Make it easier on yourselves and surrender." Echo said, Dawntwister about to fire at Heather.
"Heather!" Tuff exclaimed, desperate to do something.
"You win." Heather glared at the backstabbing girl.
"Hey, I have my reasons." She stated, and they walked deeper into the cave to join the others.
HICCUP'S POV
"Hiccup, we really shouldn't be doing this." Astrid claimed, looking at me worriedly.
"Astrid, I've been dying to move around a little. I'm fine, and feeling great."
She looked at him skeptically.
A figure loomed upon them.
"What's that?"
"So glad you asked."
I gasped as the dragons growled, at a loss for what to do.
Astrid frowned, and I knew something was wrong.

Don't kill me!
I know it's short, but I wanted suspense!
I'm sorry!
I hope you liked the shortest chapter ever!
Please vote and comment if you liked it!
Thanks!
